Dru hit on something that I thought would be a fun topic. What you eat when you game. Dru's Coffee and M&M's are classically good together.
Many of us game geeks have a little ritual we perform before planned intense gaming evenings. Stockpiles of the right drinks and snacks to keep you from having to be AFK much making grub. Probably not the most healthy stuff, but it's probably pretty consistent.
Like I mentioned on another post string, Blue Demon Full Throttle energy drink and Sour Gummy Worms are my prefered snackins. I can get 3-4 more hours of gaming out of that combo on long raid nights.
I go through expresso like mad too, and generally prefer something chocolate when I go that route. Gummy worms and coffee aren't all that great together.
So, what's your gaming snacks? Good, bad, healthy, unhealthy?

I eat peanut M&Ms :-D and the fiance doesnt allow the coffee, double shot expresso or anything like that anymore because of the hyper level...I bounce around in the arm chair and scare people! So I drink a lot of Barq's rootbeer, not mug, BARQ's, has to be barq's. Its caffine free...***grumbles***
But besides M&Ms I like to eat veggie crackers (better for you than tater chips and yummier!) and cubed mozarella cheese. But not together, I like my food all seperate. Like peanut butter and toast. I like toast, I like peanut butter, just not together. And mashed potatoes and corn, KFC makes me sick...mixing them....ewwww ***shrug***

If it's one of those long 12 hour or more non-stop nights, I'll need a 2 liter sprite, box of cheez-its, and a box of Gushers. The gushers are my power candy for when I get tired. :D

Water, Coffee, Trail Mix, and a Red Bull are the main.
I've also been known to drink Rockstar (It's the only good 24oz energy drink, Full Throttle, Amp, and Monster ftl).
And for the morning afters, Hot Cocoa/Expresso mix.

I haven't actually tried Rock Star yet. I should check it out. I thought of a new one that just popped up that I tried. The Monster coffee flavored energy drink. That one was tasty.

I dunno why dudes like cheez-it's, I guess we just like salty crunchy foods more... probably wrong. Coke while raiding is a big no-no, you get just1 sip too much and in the middle of a gruul session, your screaming at your guildies to DPS faser cause you have to go to the bathroom. xD
[edit] Also! Cheezits are cheap as freaking dirt and last a loooooooonnnnng time. I usually have like, 2 boxes on hand in one of my pantries (I have 2 :D).

I love Monster and Rock-Star. They sell Rockstars at SixFlags, good to keep you up and at em' (whoever sais Monster ftl, pfft @ you)
Cheez-its are teh sh*t. But we don't have them often. I like crackers. Plus, they dont make your hands all sticky and crap. Hate that. I'm one of those people that are paranoid about clean hands. (I wash mine a minimum of 15 times a day)

I feed on the souls of others.
Oh and I never have mastered the feat of eating and playing at the same time. If I'm playing GW I'm always PvPing or something and using mouse and keyboard at the sametime to keep movement, positioning, skills and weaponswaps going at the same time. Or in WoW I was always jumping, because let's face it; Jumping is OWNAGE. Or in UT I'm running around shooting things. Or when I'm playing console games I'm always using both hands mashing as many buttons as possible.

Yeeeeeeesssssss........ Yummy delicious souls! Now that's a meal for my Warlock. She lives on angst and the blood of the damned.
OK, got me role playing again! She is so much fun to play because of that.
The thing about gaming food is that it needs certain requirements that Rogue brought to life.
1) Requires no silverware to eat. You hands are pretty damn busy. No time for forks and such. Your game food must not interfere with the action you are involved with.
2) Minimal mess. The last thing you want is goopy fingers when you reach for the mouse of keyboard. Nor do you want something that will potentially drip condiments on said keyboard while your cramming it into your face between the action. You should be able to wipe your fingers clean on your pants quickly. (I keep a clean hand towel or a roll of paper towels at my computer station for such eating encounters.)
3) Must taste good cold. There's no time to reheat your snackins. So things like finger sandwiches, chicken strips, Gummy worms, M&M's, Trail mix and similar munchies can sit on the desk for several hours while you pick at them. Sometimes I even go healthy and will cut up apples and cheese before a known long gaming run.
And that brings up prep. I know I'm a total nerd. And I plan for it. I'll have a little ice chest prepped up with 2-3 energy drinks and whatever else I'm supplementing my drinks with, right next to me. I'll prep food well in advance that meet the requirements of the no mess, good cold, easy access foods and have a little bowl of food on the desk within reach before I log on.
When I say "Quick bio" in chat, I mean it. I'm not off getting a drink and frying up a grilled cheese. I get my bidness taken care of and hands washed in 2 minutes or less.
Its kinda funny when I think about it and my GF loves picking at me about it. I prep up like we have company coming over. But I just don't have to share my munchies. Some nights I'll even go so far as to prep up tequila shooters and just have a bottle in the ice chest of pre mixed alcoholic beverages. For those of age to drink. Hey, at least I won't be drinking and driving!

GA'ers, this is a story about why to NOT have messy foods. The only person who I banned from this computer was my cousin. His taste in game food is.... lacking. He came in, plopped down (without my knowing) and proceeded to BG whilst eating Buffalo Wild Wings's hot wings, covered in this thick sauce. The only good thing that came out of it was a new keyboard (which he paid for ;D) and I got to smash the old one, Hammers=Fun.

i remember in my old guild, where we where pretty close (well good friends) we would spend time on vent talking even when we weren't playing wow, we even had a few big get togethers where people flew around the country to meet up.
anyways every so often we would have raid night where it was pretty much mandatory to have alcohol next to you while you raided, those where fun times. the tank is to drunk to hold aggro and the mage is pulling with pom pyro .

I enjoy eating famous amos bite size cookies when I play gamecube with my brother. Because you can just reach over and grab one out of the bag and pop it into your mouth every time you smash someone off the screen.
