hey i am running at 512mb and i was gonna get a 2 or 4gig flash drive at Wally World aka Walmart, would that be a good idea??? i really dont have the extra money, to upgrade my computer, the money tree is bare

Not sure what you plan to do with the flashdrive. 512MB sounds like the amount of memory you have. A flashdrive won't help you increase the memory. The only thing you can use it for is extra storage space. But it is a lot slower than your actual harddisk, and probably a lot smaller in size as well. So all in all, I don't think it is a good idea.

Awww. You could have at least told him to go borrow a 512 drive from a friend. At the very least it would have acted as a placebo. Now, thanks to you, he SOL. Way to be evil.

Also: Walmart is evil. Supporting them is supporting the oppression of the people you someday want to opress. If you give them your money you're making countless people around the world miserable. Thanks to this when you finally take over the world there will be no more happy people left because of Walmart and all the fun you would have taken in making happy people miserable will have been taken away from you. Therefore it is only natural for all supervillains to avoid Walmart until you have to the power to either take it over or rule the world. That is all.

If you are looking to update the memory on your PC try going to BestBuy, they are ALWAYS selling RAM at a good price. 1G usually runs about 40 bucks, maybe less. Flash drives are great, but not really a sub for updating your onboard memory.

Yeah, I've got a gig Flashdrive which I have for backing up the Contact Info here. Didnt think it would work as System Memory for a laptop though. If you can find the prices somewhere local that are good; I'd upgrade the System Memory to at least a gig (2 gb preferably). You can also check Pricewatch for the best prices Online HERE!

A flash drive will definitely NOT work to upgrade your system memory. I would suggest going with the option mentioned before about picking up RAM at BestBuy. The only issue is that you need to find out exactly what kind of memory your PC takes. Usually checking the user manual or manufacturer's website will tell you. If you're not sure, send me a PM with the Make and Model number of the PC and I'll see what I can find for you.

well thank u everyone but i did go and get a 2gig today and i put it in my computer and i am loading faster and playing better than i ever had so thank u everyone for the fast respones, well, lets just put it this way i was in and out of missions with 5 MMs all lvl 50 and no lag what so ever and i lvl twice.
