Ok, I get back from a break after a few hours, only to find that guild wars has to load again.....
I thought it was gonna be a update or something, but I was wrong after an hour of waiting I find out that I have to wait another tonne of time for me to get into the actual towns/outposts/explorable areas of Guild Wars.
The game has to load, I have to wait longer for no obvious reason, and I get really annoyed. I am mainly annoyed about that fact that I wanted to play Guild Wars but takes hours to play it when i already waited from my hours long break. That it has to download again, for something I have already downloaded, and that I dont know the reason why it is doing this.
I was wondering if anyone knew the answer to this wierd thing, if it is like it is downloading again or if it is a new update that A-net hasn't bothered to tell people about on their official website, because I have checked, so it couldn't possibly be a update, unless they post it later.

I had the same thing happen to me lastnight. When I stated up GW I got that "Repairing Data" screen and then it started to download the game again, 5000+ files at first. So now I have to re-download everything again...blah this is happening to me to much...really wish I could get an answer from Anet on this issue...

when you have the disk, download it from there first, then you shouldn't have to wait more then 10secs each screen with 100kb/s download

Sounds like they may have done a hot fix on the server. It seems to be lag from the server not your computer; otherwise I would look at your background programs.

The latest patch was over 2k files large. The servers might have been bogged down.
