| Trading Post has a New Box! |

Believe it or not Trading Post is still here and still active!
Please take note that the "News" top 5 box will now be "Trading Post" Top 5. This will encourage more trading and auctions in our trading post and make the newest posts easier to find. I hope you will post all your items here and check out the new posts.
I hope you guys like having the trading post on the front page again and if you have any questions or comments on the auctions functionality please leave them here so the developers and senior staff members may work on it!

Have to give Everdream credit here for bringing it to my attention that Trading Post was no longer on the top 5. :-)
Glad you guys like the idea and it should be implimented this evening.

well there was a reason for it not showing.
People were bumping it all the time, so it was only trades in the forums. but this is much better.

Yup, and I'm glad it will be back on the front page again. This will hopefully ressurect the long-dead trade forums.

I remebr when they got rid of trade in top 5
But I looked down at the News to 5 and I ddin't see any trade things there...

i just brought it up, Drucila and the Dev's made it happen.
the main reason i did it is so Rogue gets rid of his "buy my stuff" link in his signature. lol.

No seriously though. This is actually pretty cool, and I'm glad it'll happen. Though IMO the news is important too and we should put in in big red letters across the moderators foreheads IRL. That way EVERYONE they saw would know what's happening in guildwars, and the weirdness of it all would get them on the news and us gamers (who watch the news) would get news about guildwars that way.

After seeing all that armor you have, you bet! :P
PS: A solution to the soon-to-be missing news section would be add a single line on the frontpage that shows just the latest news topic. That way, as soon as a new news article appears, it would say so at the top, even above the top 5 forum posts. :P

the reason the news box was taken away is that the top 5 news already appear on the front page, you just need to scroll down to see them all.
it was figured that we didn't really need a news box when it's already on the front page.
that and the trading post has 8551 posts and over 40,000 replies... that's almost as much as all the other sections put together if you don't count General Discussion.

Oh I completely understand why it was taken away, heck, I rarely looked at it, I scrolled down a small amount more that and just read the first news item. :P
I just saying, if its so important to rogue, there is a possible solution for it. :P

LOL wow...I forgot there was one here also. Hmmm maybe now my husband can quit complaining that he gets bored just sitting at the comp trying to sell his stuff on the game. That,and I will stop hearing him say..."I will just sell it to the merch, I don't use it. No one will buy it anyway" Then he promptly puts it back in storage. lol This happens at the very least, once a month.
