Something odd is happening with my defender whenever I use Transfusion. When I use it and transfusion hits, it jumps between two different numbers 375 and 392. This really isn't a big concern for me, cuz a heal is heal and it's always appreciated, but the jumping numbers makes me think the IO bonus' I'm getting from the Numina Convalence enhancements aren't working right. I have 4 of the IO enhancements so I have the bonus of 6% to my heals as well as the full set of Triage for the extra 2%. Anyone have any ideas why this is going on?

Now, im not a number cruncher like most of these guys, but I think it might be because transfusion uses the enemy to heal. Is it possible that attack buffs or other bonuses are enhancing the power?

Sounds very likely to me. I think transfusion works by applying a -regen effect to its victim. Presumably the higher resistance the target has to -Regen the less he/she'll give heal-wise. Likewise, buffs should affect it.

I've thought about that too, but I tried it on all 3 classes that normally appear in missions; minion, lts, and bosses. THe effect is always the same. THe only difference I can think of is the amount of endurance the enemy has when I use transfusion. If they have no endurance then the heal isn't as effective. I just wanted to share this problem with everyone and see if a similar problem has occured with anyone else.

OK, I got to lvl 41, and picked up Power Boost. THe same thing happens, I get a lower point heal sometimes and a much higher heal when I use PB, nearly doubling transfusions heal. I've tried it on foes that have full endurance, no endurance, the same target, different targets, higher than me, lower than me, and even AVs, the effect is always the same: a heal point that is either lower or higher by about 20 pts. and when I use Power Boost the difference rises by 350 pts. Has anyone else with a high lvl kinetics user (defender, controller, or corruptor) have this happen to them?
