From what I hear the big things are gonna be the following:
DB/WP
Spines/WP
DB/Regen.
Other than thoses I haven't heard much.

Yes, I'm going for the stereotypical Dual Blades/Willpower Scrapper. However, unlike many others, I actually have a good concept in mind.

I'm very split between a DP/WP Scrapper, WP/ ? Tanker, or DB/WP Brute on this one. I still haven't a 50 Hero yet, but my Katana Scrapper _should_ be able to reach that after i11 launch.
Scrappers also seem a bit too squishy to my liking (I pop Elude on almost every Boss fight), I've never had a Tanker because I find their primaries boring, but WIllpower should be a new flavour to try..
However, I've always enjoyed Brutes the most, and he's the only char I could see my Blood of the Black Stream concept working with (Since he's a villain).
Btw, Aurrius, what's your concept, I'd really like to hear more about it, please do tell :o

i have 2 i11 concepts, a WP/SS tanker, and a DB/WP scrapper. at first i was worried they'd be too similar having the same defensive set, but i think the tank will play it much differently than the scrapper will.

I'm going to make a WP/SS tank that would be the third incarnation of Sir Bigalos of Tankeria, my main tank. He started out as ice/ice (see biography here).
I havent worked out the details yet, but the second coming is Big the Boulder. He was kidnapped by the CoT and they tried to turn him into an earth thorn caster, thus changing his powers from ice/ice to stone/stone.
The third coming will be Big as a stripped down version, having his powers drained by either the CoT again or even Banished Pantheon.

I've decided to make a WP/DB tanker, for the sole reason that I havent't been able to make a Tank that works in my mind.
I know that DB works best if you take most of those powers, while as a tank you focus on your main powers (in this case WP).
But I find that if a character looks cool to your mind, and the concept is cool, you are bound to play that toon to the finish.
Now, what I really want to finish my 17th century rapier adn main gauche wearing muskatier, is a tabbard and a floppy hat.

I already have 2 stalkers, but no scrapper or brute. And the concepts for those are unique in my opinion.
The scrapper will be DB/SR

Yeah i'm going to make one, but not until my mid's hero planner updates to accommodate for the new power sets, IO's and their stats. Yeah I know its kinda like cheating, but the planner has been a big help in me planning out my lvl 50 tank so that I can get the most out of my invul armor and the most damage out of my axe melee.
I'm thinking about either a DW/WP scrapper or a mace/WP tank. I want to get a good feel for the dual weapons to see how the combo's roll. As far as the mace. . . well I never tried it out, and I think it would be a pretty good combo. . . .and yeah i like the war hammer look. . .heh i'm such a thor fan ;P

Heh... CoT eh? I really ought to get my friend Holtrinic's Bio straight cause he's got a twisted-by-the-CoT story too. Problem with it is we've gotta a huge fan-fiction theory that ties into it all that'll cause Marvel to cry foul...
As for I-11, My friend and I have some Dual Blade concepts going around. Mine's an Ice Armor/Dual Blades Tank, and he's got a Dual Blades/Regen Scrapper idea. Ya know, your Bio concepts got me thinking of a cross-the-CoT idea for these two friends...
Big downer on the Ice Armor, I'm gonna be so used to my conscranker sets by then that I'll hate having to give up Frozen Aura for this guy...
Big Chill is a conscranker: he conrols a mob so they do nothing, scraps a target till they can't stand, and tanks what's left till the job's done.
Dive in, have fun, and think about it later.

On a slightly different tack;
The Look of Scrappers.
My Natural Claws/Regen Scrapper Blind Raven has wolverine-style claws pooping out of the back of his hand, which I found kinda hard to explain as a Natural Origin.
But on the test server I could play around with the new looks.
And there are claws that look strapped upon your hands instead of 'built in'.
And: different claws per hand.
So right I have the Viper Blade, which works well with the spin attack, and left I have the flat blade, which looks nice as a 'back-up' weapon.

Personally I think that Dual Blades seem a little pale. First thing I'll be doing is firing up an Energy Melee/Willpower brute. The EM attacks are so high powered and with a regen to finally back it up Brute are going to be very very powerful. Throw in Fury and you're going to end up hitting out 1569 damage within 2 seconds:
Full Fury + Build Up:
(2 dmg, 2 acc, 2 rech - all level 50 non-set IO)
Total Focus = 688
Energy Transfer = 881
Now that was just fine when brutes really had to worry about regen and recovery but with stamina+ the tank/brute version of quick recovery and the tank/brute version of Fast Healing/Health you're going to end up with an invincible build. Seems that there's gonna be a lot of painful PvP for us Heroes.
