Well i can play Cod4 with my old game pc wich sucks, trust me on that. Only the models kittenz up every once in a while.
The minimum Requirments for the game are:
OS: XP or Vista
Processor: 2.6ghz Pentium IV or equivalent (3.2ghz recommended for Vista)
RAM: 1024mb (1536mb recommended for Vista)
Video Card: DirectX 9-compliant Shader 3.0 card with 128 MB of DDR Video Memory (256 MB recommended) AGP 8x or PCI-Express x16
Sound Card: 16-bit DirectX 9-compliant sound card
DirectX9 for XP and 10 for Vista, 8 gigs HD space + 600mb for swap file.
Supported chipsets:
Nvidia Geforce 6/7/8 series
ATi X800 or higher.

Yeah, the one from the image is the pc i play Cod4 on. My better pc(one i am currently on) i use only to download on and play GW and WoW :P

Meh, the demo is 1 gig, that's a lot on my downloadlimit (yeah , we have that in belgium).
Lets see if i can find anything replacement for Cod2,bored of it now xD.

Ehehe, we still have download limits here 2 in Holland x.x.
I don't but some do. And a good replacment for CoD2 is prblly MoH series or BF series. Depends on what you like :P

Most gaming magazines come with a CD with game demos on it, maybe look for one with the CoD4 demo on it if your download limit can't support it.

Spot on.
Either way, I seriously doubt you'll be able to play Call of Duty 4 at all on those specs.

i Have an AMD Sempron 3000+ 1.8Ghz and i run the game.
bought it today and it is sweeet
I Tried on my Bro's pc which has An ATI Radeon 9200 SE and it dont work..minimum needed is 9800.. So i doubt it will work.
This site says i cant run Cod4 yet i can so.. don't count on this to much

Yeah, that site just uses numbers based off your hardware, and it doesn't read if said hardware is over-clocked or not. Plus, it only tells you if your system meets the minimum/recommended system requirements, just because you don't meet minimum system requirement, doesn't mean you can't run it.

If you don't want to play CoD, Try BF2 (major teamwork), and BF2142.
Both great games. I prefer BF2.
