| A new Ghostbusters Game - Fall 2008 |

Friday Sierra gave reporters a few more details on their plans for the next Ghostbusters game. It is now confirmed that Bill Murray, Dan Akroyd, and Harold Ramis will be reprising their roles for the game as well as Ernie Hudson. Other original characters are also on board from the movies, they include Annie Potts (who played Janine, the Ghostbusters secretary), Brian Doyle Murray (Bill's brother and the Psychiatrist in Ghostbusters 2), and William Atherton (Walter Peck, that jerk from the Environmental Protection Agency).
The new game will be set in NYC again and players will play as a new Ghostbusters recruit. It will be released on Xbox 360, PC, PS2 and 3, Wii and DS. Fly Studioes has teamed up with Terminal Reality on the project. Fly is also currently making the much anticipated Mushroom Men. Terminal Reality's biggest game to date has been Bloodrayne.

Now here's a Movie to Game conversion that I might actually like :-)
I know there's a Murray/Akroyd that's been lying on a shelf for decades and with Akroyd in the producer seat...
Just hoping gameplay will rise above FPS shoot-em-up which is what dragged down most of the two-dozen odd previous Ghostbuster franchise games.
And heck, it's just great to see slimer again.
Missed the little bugger.
Better work on my aim ;-)

lol i have an email from gamedame in my inbox still that I havent read that would have led me right to that video on G4, I am behind on my podcasts and didnt even see it. Glad you found it!
