I'm a very big fan of photoshop and I made some avatars and signatures myself ( Clicky ). Now I see people on this forum have a totaly different style with glitters and patterns (and also animations that I don't know how they do that). So far I've only found one photoshop topic and that was from last christmas, about how you make snow and let a sword shine.
I really want to learn how:
-You make those nice shines (really embedded in the pic)
-You add those patterns on it (never seen those before)
-To make a more complicated animation than just letting something go from one direction to another.
Thx for reading my post and I hope to see a lot of links/guides/tips =D

well some moving pics here aren't made with photoshop but with flash, and you can convert a .avi movie into a moving picture (.gif) with photoshop.
*simply by dragging the avi video to the Imageready icon on ur desktop*
you can look at Good Tutorials there are thousands of photoshop and other program tutorials. you can easily make moving pictures with Photoshop Imageready, it's not hard to do but it is hard to explain here. i guess u should look it up on the internet ^^

Ok lets start with this. I suck and i couldnt be worse at making things with paint or photoshop. So im looking for some1 to make me a nice sig =) That rlly would be cool. So if you can make me a sig please send me a email

Well I was actualy looking for a new style and skills, that's why I created this topic ^^
Not for new request (still have 4 running and busy with school, that's why request topic is closed on other forum).

I make my Sigs using GW skills and a nice Brush. for brushes look at Deviantart and for fonts at Dafont

I'm think he just created three layers, make a white border (3 pixel) set the layer to overlay, and then go to the properties of that layer and add another 1 px border around that (make it black). Second layer do the same thing, but make it a 2 pixel border. You may not even need to do another layer, I would check for you, but I'm on my laptop, and my Photoshop is in my desktop at home. I hope that made sense. Good luck!

Okay, now i am going to be a bit harsh but that's how i work.
First of all, Please DONT ask for animation tutorials. Photoshop animations are the worst mistake any "amateur" designer can make, if you wan't a animation, use flash !!.
2ndly, there are plenty of good sites out there with plenty tutorials describing any techinique you might desire, my top 2 without a doubt are:
1. devianArt
2. GameRenders
Also, if you want more help, feel free to ask the GGS for tips or feel free to pm me(egocentric line :o)
