what music does everybody listen to?

hey ampers I've been gone for a long while (heh I probably got kicked out of the guild xP) and I need ideas for my still-forming band right now at least I'm into funk and hard rock like AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, van Halen, Guns n Roses, Red Hot Chili Peppers, that kind of stuff. What kind of music does everybody else listen to?

It is an absolutely unacceptable and severe insult that you categorized one of my favorite group ever as TECHNO.

I listen to all sorts of things. I am mostly a Tool/A Perfect Circle/Puscifer head. Anything by them is amazing period.

Anyway as far as Hip hop goes I am listening to Talib Kweli and Aesop Rock right now.

As far as Prog rock goes besides Tool/APC I am listening to Gentle giant and Porcupine Tree.

Metal Wise I am listening to Acid Bath and Electric Wizard (Sludge metal and Stoner metal respectively)

Industrial stuff besides Puscifer is Rammstein and chemlab.

For Classical I am listening to Beethoven.

Country wise I am listening to Tobey Keith.

On the nu-Metal scene I am listening to Allele.

OH and The beastie boys are hip hop...not ELECTRONICA(techno is an ignorant term)...regardless of what their new album sounds like(electronica is often used in hip hop...).

Hardcore, unknown in america but well known in Holland

some of my favorite DJ's:

Angerfist, DJ Noisekick, Neophyte, Noize Suppressor, Drokz, Unexist.

some may find it noise, but i thinks its the greatest noise ever :D

Some of my favorite bands:
Taking Back Sunday, My Chemical Romance, The All-American Rejects, Blessthefall, Escape the Fate, Killswitch Engage, Lovehatehero, Alexisonfire, Silverstein, 30 Seconds To Mars, Rise Against, The Used, Breaking Benjamin, and Senses Fail are pretty good aswell.
