Any tips, hints, or build ideas? I looked breifly and found some builds with plant/ something else but not much in the way of plant/fire.

It sounds like a suicide combo to me. I would be too afraid to lit my own plants. Maybe it could work, but from a concept point of view this would be a really weird combo. Unless you want to go biblical.

Ha, would've never though of a Burning Bush character. That's both funny and clever...3 thumbs up Phedre!
Anyhow, I have mixed feelings about the build. I personally don't like Plant control at all. I just don't like Confuse and Sleep. However, the damage from Fiery Assault along with the Fly Trap (the least coolest pet ever) you could run some kind of Carrion Creepers doom machine build. Just kill a few people and watch the chaos ensue

Rider of the Flames, lvl 26 Fire/Fire Blaster

K'zilix, lvl 12 WS
And, lvl 8 Invuln/Fire
Villains:
Lt. Surge, lvl 40 Elec/Stone
Skull Cyborg, lvl 29 Bots/Traps
And various other lowbies...
