Be Very Careful When You Salvage Old Armor

Last night I've decided to get Fow armor for my necro. After doing Forge Master I got my armor and put it on to show my guildmate then resign. So I'm not the only one who's seeing I got the full fow armor on. At ToA I salvage the old armors for runes and insignia but some how the old gloves was replaced with the fow gloves. I didn't really pay attention cuz I was pretty sure I had the whole set of FoW on but after I got 6 shards from it I just realize I salvage the FoW gloves. Estimate is about 100k for a FoW gloves right now. I know it's not much but for some people it might be a big deal since most decent greens are only about 5 - 8k right now. So next time when you wanna salvage the old armor for runes for the new one, you might wanna double check what ur salvaging.

After couple hours of ABing and beat the crap out of other peeps. I calm myself down and decide to get another pair of gloves so it's all good, now my necro is complete (appearance that is)

I'm always worried that something like that will happen to me, if I'm not paying attention (can I get a 'Hell Yeah!' for perfect salvage kits?).

Dude I can't even pay FoW armor >.< Do you farm UW/FoW and what do you use (600/smite or something?).
I'm planning on farming more, but I don't have a lot of cash so I'm too afraid to solo UW/FoW (don't wanna lose my 1k every time).

Heheh I don't think perfect salvage would help in this situation because the glove is clean. I think it only let you choose when you have a rune or insignia on it. Perhaph I should try... but not on the fow though =)

No ideas what this means... Is my connection good or bad?

So they would've helped a lot in this case.

I salvaged my first fow helm since it was in my inventory and ectos were about 10k. So I can say I lost a good amount of money. And back then there wasnt a message asking if you want to salvage this since it's customized. Never really noticed until I got shards. I feel your pain man!

back on topic jeez man that must of been so annoying!

i remember when i bought a kuunvang when i was new to guildwars, i managed to farm up 100k to buy one after playing for a few months ( i started around 16 months ago now) and then decided to sell it like 10 mins later as i was offered 100k and a nice staff..

after accepting i realised it was 100 GOLD and a nice staff -_-

i actualy almost had a fit at my PC screen, really really REALLY ticked me off so i know how you feel lol.

Well I was a lil bit upset but hey it's just a game. Like I said it might be a big deal to other peeps if it happens to them. I was pretty sure I had the gloves on, my guildmate even told me to do the emote so he can take a screen shot right after i got my armor in fow. As you can see I don't have many post but I thought this is something people should know about that's why I posted it. I gain no benifit what so ever from this. Just letting my GWs fellows to beware of something like this, for some if this happens it might be heart broken. I've seen people selling blue for 50g in game.

No ideas what this means... Is my connection good or bad?

Lol well that does happen alot where they cant out do me lol but i do like to have a competition with randomers about who has the best stuff lol usually its started by them when there like “oooh your all noobs” lol

But honestly i like ppl showing off to me as i enjoy doing it too :D

I feel your pain! m8 one time i salvaged a perfect req 8 shield of the lion because i wasn't paying any attention to what i was doing i got 22 iron ignots.... yee
