I'm comin up on my patron powers pretty soon and would like some input as to which of the Patrons have better sniper type attacks, basically what im asking is which one is less resisted or does more damage.

Yep, I agree. Captain Mako is the way to go. Water Spout is way fun, and might even come in handy as well. And who doesn't want a spirit Jaws as backup?
Of course like all patron powers they are not all that brilliant, but with sufficient slotting they can make the difference.

All good and well, Phedre, but he asked which patron has the best snipe power, and Captain Mako doesn't get a snipe.
I'd go for Ghost Widow. Moonbeam is negative energy, which is far less resisted than the energy of the other two. They all deal the same damage though (127,9 at level 50, according to Mids'.).

Yep, you are absolutely right. I was just distracted by shiny trinkets. Good thing we have some clearheaded people around otherwise Epsilon Unit might have gone the wrong path for want he wanted to do with his stalker.
But still. A spirit jaws ...

I would agree with Aurrius, Ghost widow is the way to go. Moonbeam will kill most minions in one shot, if you slot it right. I have Exploit weakness set sloted with 1 acc, and 1 endur red. With Build up, you can do so decent damage.
Soul Storm is the only other GW patron power (imo) that is worth anything.

My weird __|\__ came out completely hopeless. Your quote of it is slightly better, but it lost the backslash characters. What I tried to make was a cheap shark-fin-sticking-out-of-the-water drawing. But since it was so bad I didn't even bother trying to edit my post and fix it somehow.

Actually, I would say go with Scirocco. He gets a real Snipe and i've 1 shotted minions and done serious damage to Lt.s and put a nice dent in Boss levels.
By the time the mob reaches you, you'd be hidden again and can get off another Critical. Oh, the Snipe shot does a critical hit while hidden :) Plus, the End drain you can do with the electricity is pretty good too.

As I've already said... all three sniper powers deal EXACTLY the same base damage, the only reason why Ghost Widow's snipe USUALLY deals the most is because negative energy damage is not whidely resisted. Energy damage (from Scirocco's snipe) is resisted quite a lot. So, what you're saying (that Scirocco's deals serious damage) goes for the other two snipes as well.

I have a blade/regen stalker, I did Ghost Widow and got Moonbeam... it's the best snipe power IMO when slotted properly... although, I really don't use any long range powers at all on my stalker. comes in handy sometimes, though.
