Treasure Chests

Just wondering do ppl still go at these things anymore? or have they fallen by the wayside?

Ok then lets Discuss.

Yes, lol once a month the chests unlock and you can grab stuff out of them. Out of all in Nightfall you can collect in total...near 15-20k i heard.

I no longer bother with them as some are out of the way, and get a little boring to get, plus I have only been getting purples anyway.

You must be thinking of different treasure chests. You alwaus get gold items + maybe rare crafting materials like rubies or dimonds and gold pieces.

WOW...you can get purples...I have yet to get a purple and I've already opened atleast a good 50 chests between 9 chracters...

I do it once a month in HM...20k for basically no work ain't nuffin ta scoff at.

i do them on characters when i can, they do however get worse as you open them more frequently(per character) id be lucky to get a total of 7-10k and a few golds on my derv with how much ive done them

from what iv seen it doesnt matter if you do it in HM or NM ^^
but maybe its just me

You actually get purples and less money/chest after you've opened them a certain amount of times. I've opened them on my monk everytime they've been reset and it just keeps getting worse and worse.
On my mes though I opened them for the first time and made about 20k from it.

Since only my Warrior and Paragon have finished NF i only open the Chests with those 2.

Even set the date my chests will reset in my phone =/

Btw..Does it matter if you do it in NM or HM ??

And out off all the chests i openened i got 1 Ruby, and the rest where all gold weapons..

Went around opening them all today: one diamond, one gold, and the rest were purple.

I almost cried when the one outside the Vortex spat out a purple req 9 Diamond Aegis. :(

Same here.

Though I ran some Treasures on my Mez today and as usual i've been getting nothing but purples and 1/3 the amount of gold.

Hahahah oh yes, you wouldn't believe! People would rather spend extra 20k on an item so that it is Gold and not Purple with the exact same stats.
If you want a Longsword or Fellblade go get a Purple one, saves you cash!

It is a very strange human behavior I must admit.

I'v found that if you wait around 6 weeks the drops are better for the first 2 chars you use to open them up, after thats its back to purple. Also the drops are the same weather you open the chests in HM or NM

I stopped getting them bcause they have only reset for me one time. Even after anounced total resets they have not worked for me.

erm when ya open them on one char there fine but then if ya open them on another char in the same month the drops are a bit worse.

so i always recommend starting from the top and working down on all chars.

I must say it's easy money. Just use a running build.
Also if you want gold items, rare crafting material and a fair amount of money, you should open them ones a month. So if you start this Saturday the first of December, you should open them on January the first. Also you can only use 1 character. Because if you use an other character, the timer will restart so you have to wait 1 month again.
