n00b Armor Question

Yes, this is the most n00b question ever, but it does make some sense to me....

Why can't we have our "Secondary" profession armor as well as Primary? Yes, if you change professions, you lose ability for that armor... but damn, it would be nice to be able to wear a secondary as a Warrior :)

Monk tattoos alone are priceless...

RE: n00b Armor Question

To quote Sean Connery in the Highlander movie:

B - A - L - A - N - C - E, Balance!

A Warrior with a Monk's Energy regen armor bonus would be... unbalanced.

RE: n00b Armor Question

Because an Elementalist has power in his mind and not in his body, so wouldn't be able to wear heavy warrior armor. (as an example)

Every profession has its own unique character appearance. Only those characters fit into the armors of those professions. Could you imagine a big, broad warrior squeezed in a mesmer's outfit? ^^

Well, yea... that's why I brought this up :) hahaha

Seriously... I know that each armor has benefiets for that class... but what if it only had something for the primary class... i.e warrior, axe +1, etc....

I would think it would be badass to have upper body tats on a warrior/monk with Ancient armor as the leggings. We don't need an energy benefiet, keep things the same.

And seriously... why would you add "SUNGLASSES" to a fantasy midevil times game... or whatever. Yea, MXO = Sunglasses as head gear... Guild Wars = not so much...

Well...why not? they are fun to wear and they look very nice on some characters
The glasses are just a cool gadget. It's not that bad if they are in a "Medieval themed game", I think.

A warrior wouldn't be squeezed in a mesmers outfit cuz Monk,Warrior and Mesmers got the same bodymass elementalists,Ritualists got 1, Ranger,Dervishes and maybe paragons got 1... Assassins got their own bodymass :) so does necromancers :)

I Think That's it...

Well if the secondary armor had the same stats and armor rating as the first profession armor. Then the only difference between the two would be their appearence.
