Doesn't matter too much. I barely use 2nd profs when questing etc. but I'd take R/Mo for Mending Touch (which is a NF skill, though, I believe) or R/N for Plague Touch.

If you're 2 rangers exploring factions just go R/Mo for a hard rez. You can change later as you need.

I always combine it =D Mending touch and rebirth. I also have R/N for touching (and no I don't use that lame build in PvP) and R/Rt for splinter weapon, combined with barrage.

Why is it a lame build? If it is legal and within the guidlines and not cheating then there is nothing wrong with it. If it is effective and gets the job done then use it is what I say.
On the subject, I have a R. I switch it between R/W and R/E all the time.

god sake why do you always have to act like this? do u never have ur own mind? is there nothing lame/stupid/bad for you? i bet u're one of those people who says all skills in guild wars are usefull :)..omg -.-
toucher is lame because u just need to keep spamming 2-3 skills. is it really that hard to understand? omg ofcourse it's legal, wtf is an illegal build? what's a cheating build? there aint, it's just lame, boring and stupid. that's what is wrong with it

@golden warrior:
i really know you are a good pvp'er, but touchers aren't boring. i know they are mindless, i know they are lame, but you can't say it's boring. it's a oppinion. and oppinions aren't the same for all.
(btw on rest i totally agree with you)
@ranger question:
you should go r/mo. let your friend use a short bow and you a long bow. then you have higher chance of surviving and so running away and rebirthing your friend. the best choice for pve till now. later you can go dual splinter barrage and own really hard. but you need atr. points for that. and you dont have that, so just wait.
thanks to mimori for this nice signature!
if you find big grammar faults in my posts, please pm me to tell me what i did wrong.

touchers ARE boring, nobody(not even biggest idiot) plays on toucher day and night, keep having to repeat the SAME and SAME again over and over with no tactics/strategy whatsoever behind it, you WILL get bored of it...u can't tell me that u play every single day and never get bored of it, perhaps u will just to beat me on this point but in reality u don't.
if it really were that somebody plays on toucher 24/7 and enver gets bored then i have no respect at all towards that person, and i would call him an idiot
thanks for telling me that about opinions, i don't know how often i have heard that on these forums...maybe like 80 times

I play toucher sometimes, well only because people hate touchers so much, its so funny when you own anyone while you play toucher and the one you kill starts to whine: OMG N00b toucher, its just so funny=P=P

1st of all, you need to settle down a little. You have your opinion and I have mine. Your reply borders flaming, but Im not offended by it.
As a matter of fact, I don't pvp at all. At the same to who are you to tell me what skills I can and cant use. I paid my money for this game and that entitles me to use anything I want to use. Knowing that it pisses you off makes me want to go start pvp'ing in hopes of running across you.
2nd of all, what you consider lame, boring, or stupid doesnt constitute what the next person thinks. But I'll remember what you said here so when the day comes and the right person dies and leaves you incharge I'll know what not to use.

maybe you got ur ass pwned too much by touchers?
It's just a good build and people can't stand it they get beaten by people who like to use good builds.. I know, it's not much fun to lose, but if they want to play touchers, it's fine and you shouldn't call them idiots.

mhmm not really, perhaps when touchers were newly re-invented with the clone touch when factions came out and i was yet too unexperienced to know how to counter them properly...
what i am saying is that there are people who just ask
WAT IS GUD BUILD???????? then people joke around (unkind as most of society is) and will tell him toucher. so then he goes and plays toucher, he starts forming teams in TA and maybe even creates guild and grabs some other touchers and a few henchies and goes into gvg and just drops dead after a few mins.
also there often are people in ab and ra that when they play toucher start trashtalking IMMENSLY when they kill someone (defeating somebody as a toucher and being proud? wtf is wrong with people?) and call them noobs, runners, cowards, etc. bad thing is most touchers think they're cool and very awesome because they got enough braincells to repeatly using 2-3 skills.
idk why im even talking so much about why a toucher is bad, pretty sad tbh that such things need to be explained. it actually helps to say how touchers are lame builds because perhaps some rookies do not know yet? not talking about the people who paly a few times just for a laugh...
i didn't want to flame or anything bad towards you specifically, but explain it in a way so people MAYBE HOPEFULLY one day will understand how playing lame and being proud of it(when being serious) is stupid.

On topic,
For your Ranger, and previously stated, R/Mo
is a great first choice, I would go with that until you get an urge to try something new. :)

I hate touch rangers. IMO they are for the weaker player (don't get me wrong) but it's such an excuse/easy way out of fighting. They are also very annoying to try to kill unless you keep your distance and nuke them to death.
My 2 Cents!

sry but i really dont feel the need to prove anything here about my grammar n spelling, i know i can do it, but really cba to waste my time write like that on a game forum.
i posted that because i just gave up. i couldn't believe how so many people stood up against touchers, i'm not saying that amp wasn't always like this but since keo, geek, trib and all those people were banned/left things became different, missing interesting opinions etc.. too bad. i bet most of you would also explain to me how awesome mending wammos with dolyak sig in pvp are...

toucher=rape, mending wammos w/dolyak=rape. duh. I just love running toucher in AB since it owns and takes a lot of skill to use. Since my little brain can only has the capacity of pressing 1, 2, 1, 2, 1, 2, 3. It's fun.

I would say no. Only because when I ever use warrior skills, I always want to use them at full potential (meaning 15+ attributes).
They only benefits I would see when a ranger/warrior is the expertise to knockdown costs for cheap and fast recharing sword attcks...like being a touch ranger...except not near as good.
Other reason is for the armor values. Having more armor against elemental damage and not worring to much about insignias that protect against elemental damage, when we all know that the ele armor pump ups for warriors is pointless. IMO, warriors need energy or health more then elemental dmg armor.
So, that's pretty much it from me.

My Ranger has been R/W from the start and I've never even considered changing the secondary.
What I like about it is the flexibility of the playstyle: you can play range or melee; you can support the backline with warrior shouts; you gain access to adrenaline-based skills; Quick Shot + Read the Wind + Frenzy is funny...
If you want to be on the safe side, you might want to take Mo as secondary though.

Nihdel Baalh - D/Rt (That's the plan anyway...)

If you are planning to get survivor title, try R/W. The warrior profession has alot of useful stances, which can help you survive.
@Golden Warrior: I support you in the war against touchers.
