Ampy Holiday Story Contest

Ampy Holiday Story Contest

Well its that time of year again and Ampy wants to celebrate. This year he thought it would be fun to have a short story writing contest. This contest is open to all games on the network. Ampy wants to read Holiday stories in the settings of the games. He wants to know what kind of holiday traditions your characters might experience in game . He knows most games have a winter event maybe that could be the starting point for your stories. Your story can be about any holidays occurring during the holiday season. It can be the traditional holidays or new ones that you make up. Get those creative writing pencils out and get us some stories.

Your stories need to be a minimum of 600 words and a maximum of 2,000. All stories should be spelling and Grammar checked before submission. Stories that have not been checked will not be accepted. You will submit your stories to the articles section of your game of choice for example a Guildwars story would be submitted to the Guildwars article section. Once your story has been approved you will go to the contest thread on the Gameamp shop forum. Make a link to your story on the Ampy's Holiday Story contest thread.

The Prizes:

Grand Prize: 250 pts Credit and a $50.00 Amazon.comGift Card
2nd Place: 200 Pts Credit
3rd Place : 150 Pts credit.

Game Rules:

All stories have to be submitted by Midnight on January 1st
All stories have to be spelling and grammar checked
All stories must be linked to the contest thread to be considered an entry
All stories must be at least a minimum of 600 and a maximum of 2,000 words
Only 1 entry per Amper
Staff are allowed to enter
Have fun!!!

Did you post it on the Heroes or Villains side?
if Heroes, some gentle P(M)rodding of Staff may be required. I noticed they update user submissions about once a week of late. The Villains work a lot harder. ;-)
