| Returning player with a few questions... |

Started playing COH when it frst came out and played for bout 6 months and then move on to a different game. Im back now and playing a Corr and have a few question that Im hoping you all can help.
Its mostly about SO's and slotting of powers. Thanks ahead of time for any help.
First off, is there any need/reason to slot more then 3 of any one thing. As I remember it, the word was that after 3 of any one type, there were less returns. ie: slotting a blast with 4 Acc. Does this make a difference?
Also, for powers like Hasten, how many Recharge Reduc's is enough? When I was playing my Blaster in CoH, I had it 6 slotted with Rec Reduc's. Is that still the case and if not, how many is enough?

Hi rand1701. Welcome back to the greatest game around. And another welcome to GameAmp.
Some time back (when City of Villains started) they introduced ED. The effect of ED is that a fourth, fifth, sixth SO of the same type is basically useless. You only get back a very small percentage. So slotting with more than 3 of any enhancement is no longer the best use of your slots. As a result it is no longer possible to have perma-hasten.
However, with the introduction of the invention enhancements recently it is once again possible. But you need to have very deep pockets and know exactly which IO sets give which bonuses. Personally I am not going that deep. I can live very happily with a non-permanent hasten.
Whenever you are now on your enhancement slotting screen and you mouse over an enhancement over a slot it shows you the nett effect if you would slot it. Quite nifty!
If you still have your blaster from 2 years ago you definitely need to respec. But that is just the joy of the game in my eyes.

Yeah, that's the norm around here. If you ever have another question you'll be sure to get the answer you're looking for in a short amount of time.
I hope you enjoy getting back into the game. A lot has changed since you've been gone, but it shouldn't be too difficult to get yourself reorientated.
