In the past few weeks several of my alliance members have been banned for loaning gold in excess of 100,000 gold to other alliance members, there ban's were either 72 hours or permanent. Yet people can go unpunished in major towns and cities doing this....
Took out chat log. Contained a LONG spam of a gold site. I assure you it was long.

This leads me on to my next suspicion, It's simple: they aren't banned because those are part of the Anet gold selling operation. The reason Anet persecutes all independent gold sellers is because it sells gold itself and doesn't want competition. That's why it targets any indepedent competition on ebay, etc. GW = gaming without monthly fees only because Anet sells gold online to supplement it's income.
Also, there is suspected to be another duplicating exploit, which could make the GW economy more unstable than ita already is.

I presume you mean the blogspot thing, yes i do believe it is true and could finish GW once and for all, although that guy who is posting looks to be on very thin ice

maybe it's just a joke...but if it's true then some people can gain quite alot of rl cash with it, it took anet extremely long to realize that there was duping going on already the first time, people were selling ambraces and gold on the internet with lower prices (not asians) and got a LOT of profit.

It's like believing that DB staff was arrested at Otakon... Lol
Edit: Let me elaborate: How can you believe this when there is absolutely nothing to back this story up? No sources, no way of knowing this is an ex-employee. Nothing.

lol I don't think so... 5 million players spend x ammount on a game and they make the majority of their money from gold companies? why release more chapters? why have a GW2? they can just get kids to farm gold :S
If this was tru then they would have released better armer sets for eotn infact there are lots of better ways they could make money than this. I think they know that they could charge for things like millionth edition bonus packs and people would pay they could sell character slots people buy them. If anet needed more money they would make it another way no need for cloak and dags. The whole concept is absurd.

looking at the share price no, gfc are not going to be an issue to a company worth with a trading value so high. a company employing so few staff and selling this many games would not calculate a risk like affiliating with gfc. infact im gonna start laughing right now and im gonna chuckle to myself for days. Its like Microsoft making money from screensaver popups and russian bride sites it just doesn't scan.

ROFL this is really to fun. but really please dont believe it, it's the same theory as that america plotted 9/11 against themselfs or that im in secret a vampire XD
this makes no sense. there is no proof and even if they would do that, let them, whats the big deal?

yea, i wouldn't believe it. i've read the articles on Gold Farms in the gaming magazines and they aren't in any way affiliated with the companies that make the games. All the profit there from Gold Farms goes to the owner of the gold farms, who then needs to 'look after' their farmers, meaning give them enough food and shelter that they won't die.
computer updates, buying hardware, i'm sure what's left after the time / dollar put into Gold Farms that there wouldn't be a significant chunk left over. A-net would be better off selling character slots, skill-packs, bonus mission packs, etc. see where i'm going with this? they already do.
anywho, i wouldn't believe it, as we've heard reports of bots etc. getting banned.

/conspirary theory mode on.
this could be fake (which I doubt), but it could be to get rid of 'other competition', which means that A-net is the only 1 selling gold :P
