Well their site recommends:
| QUOTE | | A 475W PCI Express-compliant system power supply with a combined 12V current rating of 32A or more *Minimum system power requirement based on a standard PC configured with an Intel® Core™2 Extreme X6800 processor 30A |
Also, are you willing to spend all that money on a GTX? The new GTS is out with 112 stream processors and 640mb, it performs better than the GT which was already close to the GTX - and cheaper.

So my power supply should be just fine correct? Also I'm aware of the new GTS I just used the card I posted as a basic thing of what I'm looking for. The GTX and The GTS run basicly the same amps I believe.

it would be easier to tell you if you posted the exact model of power supply you have. are you currently running a pcie card in the system?
and btw, i love your display pic, it looks just like my desktop!! o.O

1. My advise is to ask in the store if it can. I recently bought new PC hardware and my 300W power supply wasn't good enough (minimal 400W). I think it's even more for the GTX.
2. I wouldn't buy GTX but the 8800GT, since it's better price/performance.. it came out just after I bought my stuff =(

as long as you have the extra connectors that it requires, your psu should work.

Generally speaking power supplies give you 40% more energy than you even need so you can pimp out a computer into a nice gaming machine before you would run low on power. In fact youd almost have to have a server before it would affect the power.
You should be fine.

PS - I would keep an eye on your internal temperature though and make sure you have an extra fan because higher powered cards can get very hot.

Output=650W... even if its RMS and I expect it is, then yes it can power your gfx card unless you pc is the hubble teliscope.
the connections on the power supply might matter sometimes they require a power supply direct from the psu make sure you have a couple of spare leads free if not then you can go without a floppy drive or one of your ten dvd writers.
