12 10 2007 the day runescape died

dont feel like explaining but runescape has a bunch of new updates in a fight on real world item trading that ruined most of the good parts of game. thousands (supposedly) have alrdy quit and alot have said ther switchin to GW. if gw underwent a big publicity campaign i think they can really dmg runescapes fanbase which i would like :p im scared of the thought of wat GW mite do someday about this. post comments

Runescaped died years ago... many many years ago. Only reason it's even limping is because of all the new teenagers that are coming to the net. :P but yay for gw?

quick check and i can tell u they just totally destroyed PK which will leave 1/6 of the players hanging, and thats a lot of players looking for a new game... EVERYONE START MAKING GUILDWARS PERMOSSINAL VIDEOS =p thou then we'll have to deal with some noob problems...

hehe. i feel bad that even one of my handles on here is my Runescape char main @ Lvl 103. it was level 100 on RS1 back in 2001, lol.

well, yay for GW, though most High-school computer labs can't handle GW which is where i spent most of my time playing Runescape. lol.

it was merely a game i kept open while learning computer stuff, to me runescape was dead when they introduced 'Fatigue' and that if you don't move for 5 minutes it logs you out deal... that's how i got to L100!! grrr. oh well.

and yea, hahahah at runescape, i agree rogue.

What! lol you cheater. Runescape required no skill compared to gw. All you do is sit back and attack, where as guildwars you have 8 skills and all that other stuff.

Oh and haha, that 5 minute log out is like 20 seconds now. Thank god i quit.

Well actually GW only requires clicking, where as runescape requires HOURS longer to get up levels, and other items to get levels eg. Mages require runes, rangers require arrows, all we require is a bow and/or energy which is any easy regen. Also Runescape has many more skills to level up which takes longer, all you have to do in GW is get to level 20 and then ur done. But I do reacon GW is better because if you want anything good in Runescape you have to pay, and GW has better graphics, but I like how you can wear wateva capes in Runescape kidna.

friend of mine played runescape i showed him gw, he stopped runsescape and come to gw ^^

i once tried to play runescape, when i had no idea what it was...thought it was a fps at first :s

i alrdy wanted to stop playing when i saw the first screen.

I hate runescape, I hate Jagex even more. Jagex seems to be ran by a bunch of 12 year olds who constantly make crappy decisions that ruin the game to a worse state than it is in right now. They're like izzy with skill balance only 20x as slow and much less effcient.
