Perpetual Gets Sued over Gods and Heroes

Former PR company for Perpetual Entertainment is sueing the company for mishandleing the closing of Gods and Heroes and for mishandleing Star Trek Online.

Details about Perpetual's dealings with Kohnke over the cancellation of Gods & Heroes are coming to light. Uncovered court documents are revealed to the Media; they speak of a new complaint just submitted to California's Superior Court last week. Allegations include Perpetual fraudulently transferred valuable assets such as like the Star Trek Online license to an insider-owned corporation at a loss and leaving Kohnke, who have a financial stake in the now-defunct MMORPG Gods & Heroes, without hope of payment save legal recourse.

TenTonHammer has the court documents here: http://www.tentonhammer.com/node/15620?size=_original

So they didn't cancel the game cuz it wasn't working?
Someone sold/gave away Star Trek online?
It was a money issue?

the game was shit IMO...and pretty much everyone I know that played it will agree with me. If they pushed the release date back like 6 months they probably could have pulled it off though.

As for Star Trek, Purpetual is still developing the game to my knowledge, I think what happened is that they "sold" it to another developer so they wouldnt have to pay Kohnke royalties...apparently they did not like the job Kohnke was doing which from what I have seen I do not blame them much. As for the money issue from my understanding Kohnke is just pissed because they poured money into a crap game IMO. I doubt they will win a fraud case if anyone sees how bad Gods and Heroes turned out to be, because if they had released it on time like they wanted it would have RUINED perpetuals credibility as a developer in the industry...look what Vanguard did to Sony (who is now fixing it thank god) and Sigil *who fraked it up in the first place*
