It took a while for my rant to come, but I got so pissed this time that I just had post this. It's not only a rant, also a suggestion. Ok here we go:
I'm just getting SO sick and tired of all those *kitten* noobs that come to RA so they can get cool weapons for their PvE noob characters, that they aren't able to farm cus they didn't complete even one campaign. I mean.. just look at what I countered in one evening of RA:
-Mo/W with a sword, trying to be the ultimate tank with their SoR and than rush into battle..
-W/R with favorable winds and a bow AND sever artery?? Where did that guys brain go to?
-Monks that actualy believe bonding works;
-W/Mo with mending and Vital Blessing;
-PvE characters that suck, run into battle, die, call you a noob and rage-quit.
These days I just have to be a monk myself to get a single win, leave alone 5 wins in a row. I am close to getting gladiator title (got tired of increasing my AB title cus it was taking too long). I need title 1 to get some decent team in TA, and I was doing that in RA but with those Zaishen chests it has become a living hell.
Solution?
Make a rule that only people who have had at least 200k balthazar faction can buy/use those keys! I don't want the chests to disappear, because I like to do PvP and this way I can still get cool stuff for my PvE characters, without farming the whole day (wich get nerfed anyway).
Well this was my rant for the moment =D It's not a usual rant because I also give a solution for my/the problem ^^
I hope I'm not the only one who thinks about it this way and I hope the 200k balth faction rule is going to be put in.

Please don't offend people. I mean I use the chest but i don't have a PvP Title, but i don't want to use my reward points on a stupid piece of armor. So don't call PvE players noobs if they use the chests
And about those SoR noobs who try to tank... I've played with one 10 minuts ago and we got 10 wins

I'm not calling every PvE player a noob. I'm talking about ppl who go and do PvP with a character that has droks armor and no good runes. And if you win 10 with that tanking monk, you prob have some experienced ppl in your team or ppl who just get the point.. As I said, it's my rant it's not to offend ppl in any way.

RA was filled with noobs long before the chest was implemented. Don't kid yourself to believe that putting a req on people who can open the chest will actually make RA better.
It wont.

Sorry off topic, haven't played this game for months.
Do you have to use pve characters to open this chest? and does it count as a point in treasure hunter title for each chest?

That would be no, and no =D
And I think the noobieness of RA has increased when the Zaishen chests came out..

Blazings, Stop playing RA, and get a HA group.
The noobiness level has increased?... must be the "runescape is dead" thread. Read it, and reasons for the influx of new players a.k.a. newbies will reveal itself.
Admittedly, since the start of GW, the competitive level in Random Arenas went down down down. people used to get good builds and run them well to win RA. now RA's just a junkloadofjunkpeople, so don't blame the arena, blame the arena-net.

Oh believe me, I would love to do TA and even more HA (see my sig) but I did AB a long while and didn't have glad title. If you want a good party in TA/HA you really need a rank. Pug's suck in HA if you ask me^^

PUGs suck at everything IMO...wont do em anymore, would rather not do anything than deal with pugs...too much of a chance to get bullheaded nubs or A-hats. (Atleast I admit when I am a bullheaded nub...)

This is true, if you present a well thought out, nicely worded argument maybe Anet would listen. Put it on the forums there and see if you get any decent response. But again I would make sure its well worded and thought out before you do so.
I know a lot of gaming companies will listen to a good argument for something and try to fix it if enough people agree.

I should have started PvP when I started PvE. I now that I can't start now. Sucks.

That's not really true, it is still quite possible to get into PvP. I mean, I might seem sometimes like I'm very all-knowing about it (and yes, that sounded incredibly selfish >_<) in PvP, but I've really only done it hard-core for the last half year or so. I've done PvE a whole lot longer.
Just start off in a random TA/GvG guild, and do some RA+TA. Your guild doesn't even have to be good. Get rank 1 glad, or even better, r2. Quit your guild for a newly formed HA guild, and show off your glad to get in. Get R3, quit, and then join a +r3 guild. Get r6, and move on, etc. See where I'm going? Like any modus in GW, you have to start off small. I advise you though, join up with some random newly formed guild, you are bound to get some faction + fame even with other newbs like you. Practice makes perfect, slowly you'll progress forward to the big, fun stuff ^_^

I am confused, ra random arena is filled with noobs then your more likely to be fighting against a noob team... doesnt that mean you should be killing more people. the whole random thing means that your chances of getting a good team are = to the chances of fighting a good team. Perhaps you can fix this by directing your noob team to follow your lead and teach them how to play a little.

Wyat, thanks. I might try that. I'm not ready to leave my current guild because we are all RL friends. But maybe I can join the other newbs in RA and newb it up a bit. I might run into some of you there and you can totally pwn me. Just dont insult me afterwards. Thats just mean.
I do AB quite a bit. R6 in Kurzick. I know its easy to get that on the Luxon side, because they are always winning...well, not always...lol...

Nicely said there Wyat, but there's one problem.. most of the time I join a guild I get active there. Get to know ppl and that makes it hard to leave them. Let alone do that around 5+ times ^^ So if that worked for you it's ok, but I couldn't leave a guild so fast.

That's a start at least. Getting the first tier in Glad is always an accomplishment when your mostly PvE. You ought to try out some of my build in the RA diary for some starters perhaps? give me 2 seconds to fetch the links, I'll put them up here in a moment. Oh, and for the suckers spamming NOOOBISHGUYOMGWTF... I tend to avoid them by turning all-chat off. Anyhow, they are just words, shrug them off and keep playing. If you can leave with bad politicians, I'm sure you can live with screaming teens online.
:::EDIT:::
I found the links!
The old RA Diary (remember to check if the skills are outdated)
The current RA diary
Oh and Blazings, I know what you mean. But the people you wish to keep, add them to your friends list, and let them guest your new guild in whatever activity you are doing. In the guilds I usually find, there's almost never enough people online all the time for a quick GvG. Guesting other guilds is a quite common thing to do, once you get used to it you'll be just as much in touch with them like before ;-)
