| Results of the base prestige bonus |

I am not really a base builder, and actually have no idea what you can do with 50x20,000 = a million prestige. But it sounds like a lot. Did anybody do something really cool with all that prestige? I would like to hear some stories, or even better: see some screenies.

I totally redid my base and added the energy and control for the extra equipment. I still have some decor to add but the essentials are all there now.
I can get a screen shot when I get the decor done.

Yeah, I drastically expanded my base and improved the facilities, although I found that even 3 mil is still not anugh, lol.

Just what we needed, upped the plot size to fit the last teleporter, up to the 21st beacon. We can now go almost anywhere.
Time to start the talk on what more we need (sigh), but still have enough for most of the rest of the stuff wanted.

Nearly every chapter of the Legion of Catgirls now has multiple teleporters. Some also upgraded to the next plot size. The Triumph chapter finally has enough to place all 21 teleport destinations.
Several other supergroups are also getting major upgrades, especially real power and control and a 4-slot teleporter room.
The upgrades to the Triumph LoC base took a considerable amount of time, though. The reason is we have as many inspiration bins as I could cram in for the Halloween event, all crammed full of large inspirations. I had to make temporary places to put the bins before I could delete and replace rooms. I ended up temporarily increasing the plot size, placing a temporary workshop and storing the full bins there until I was ready to downgrade the plot size.

I added the Turbine generator to my base for more power. been working on the prestige for that thing for awhile. now I can just work on the rest of the portals & maybe a medic bay.

Our supergroup on Freedom is basically using it for rent money. :) We already had just about everything. I'm not a leader of it, so I don't know if they're planning on putting in one of those funky FlashBack crystal things, but we'll see. We pulled down about 2.5 million.

Well I guess no one else knows about this here, but we actually received the pretige boost TWICE!
Lighthouse said that they tried to do some work on the test server and somehow the one-time pretige bonus of 20k/hero was repeated.
My new VG on Champion had 5.8+ million prestige.

Woah. Big Chill's SG would then get... 30 odd members x 20k prestige... well over a mill... damn, and I don't have any reason to expand the base. Already have 6 porters, tables and storage, the only reason I don't have a raid porter is because I'm all alone there.
Ya know, theis reminds me of a post about having spent too much time on CoH, ont point was having your own base with porters... funny, and I hardly play at all.
Big Chill is a conscranker: he conrols a mob so they do nothing, scraps a target till they can't stand, and tanks what's left till the job's done.
Dive in, have fun, and think about it later.

The Lipstick and Latex League on Virtue hit 150 members at 11:59 pm the night before the bonus.
We woke up the next day with our 3 million prestige and all did a happy dance. (Along with a naked party in the Base).
According to what I am to understand, when they did the followup patch to fix some of the things, they forgot to uninstall the prestige bonus, so it rolled over and awarded it again. They said that since they screwed up, we could keep the extra.
6 million prestige in two days allows for a MUCH larger hot tub in the base.
