I just created an account and played it for couple of hours and I'm getting pawned badly.
Three slashes from them and I'm dead already can't even kill them, all I can do is boost
backwards while shooting and steal kill(if lucky). lol

What kind of mech are you looking to create, i personally have experience with fps's so i found it easy to start.
Perosnally buy yourself 2 smg's and blast everything to hell :P

Exteel is a very fun game, problem is that a lot of games that comes from NC soft doesn't get good advertisement.
I think if the game got more word about it these forums would be movin a bit more
..Oh and yes, smg's = hella good

Yeah I'm having so much fun I didn't even noticed that I've been playing this game for 3 hours.
And I'm already a corporal and I still suck. Evertime a trainee destroys me,
I felt kinda embarrass for my rank, my teammates and myself.
But still enjoying this game.
If you see a red raging idiot with dual swords thats me.(free frags)
