Ok. My main character is an ele, and he has 15k primevil. Currently i have no insignia's or rune's except for sup fire magic on head and minor energy storage rune on feet. I was wondering if someone could tell me what the best rune's and insignia's to put on my armor.

Sup Vig
Minor element on the appropriate headpiece
minor energy storage
Insignias and open rune slots should be a mix to get you to 600 health and everything else can go to energy.

that is a good set up if you pvp with your ele. in pve you should be able to get away with a sup rune of the given element + the appropriate head piece.

I agree with this set up, in PvE you can get away with a sup rune of the given element, as long as you cover it with health insignias.

A sup vig is really not necesssary, just take a major vig and save some money. I use all radiant insigs and a sup (att) here on the appropriate headpeice. I also use a minor nrg storage and a 2 attunement and 1 vitae. i get away with 456 or 486, depending on weapon set.

This is the way I set up almost all of my characters. It seems to work well for me.
Headpiece = Radiant + Sup Attribute
Chest = Survivor + Sup Vigor
Hands = Survivor + Minor Primary Attribute (ie. E-Storage, Fast Casting, etc.)
Legs = Survivor + Attunement
Feet = Survivor + Attunement
I usually set all my Heroes up the same way as well with the only exception being Survivor on the headpiece. Heroes need more health because they're not the brightest lights on the porch sometimes.
Mighty Bizatch [W], U Think U Need Me [Mo], Village Unicycle [R], Dead By Association [A], Rori Gilmore [N], Spellbound Psyche [Me], Charismatic Harm [E], Quintessential Chi [Rt], Chuck This [P], Scythey Scytherson [D], Thats Kossome [PvP], Pre Is Kossome [Presearing W]

I'll buck with the norm here. My Ele is my main character too (just about 7 million xp). I run him with a Sup Rune of Element on Head and then a sup rune of energy storage elsewhere (I really like the extra kick of energy). I've got a major vigor on him and a couple attunements. Depending on what the situation calls for, I'll either run full Radiant insignias (puts me at ~100 energy with my staves), or my Pyromancers armour (+10 vs. fire and elemental).
I usually run between 94 and 100 energy and at around 381 to 411 health. Now before you jump all over me for having such low health, realize that I'm an experienced player who knows the fine art of playing an Ele (i.e. not dying).
When making the decision, also consider the heroes/allies you usually bring. I tend to lean towards no less than 2 monks in my party (quite often 3). So I don't often worry about my health. If you run with less, then perhaps a little more health is better and sacrifice some energy.
Anyway, just my thoughts. Ultimately, the decision is yours, so pick what works best with your playing style.

I run Pyromancer insignias on everything except the feet, which is Geomancer. Major fire on the head, minor energy storage, major vigor, and two vitea. I've got 506 health and a base of 69 energy. By using a +5 energy wand and +12 offhand, I've got 86 energy and rarely have a problem. However, I only PvE.
