imagine this, your in ab 1 vs 1, and you get killed in a close fight. than you see .....
THE GUY YOU GOT KILLED FROM:OWNED YOU NOOB!!!!!
and your like ok whatever, but than people start trash talking, and think their all tough.
personally those people are annyoing, guildwars has turned into a game of hate (luxons and kurzicks). everyone run there more hate here!! RUN BEFORE THEY GET YOU

that is a prime example why i leave all chat off when i ab. i cant stand to hear the crap that comes from both sides. i only recall having all chat on once and i made some guy look like an idiot after he pulled out the your mom jokes.

Whoever says this stuff are total and absolute idiots. If s/he really wanted to prove a point that he beat someone in a VIDEO GAME by talking in all caps over the INTERNET must lack a life.
And to the other part: The world is full of hate, why should a video game be any different?

Ah I see this about everytime I go to ab. Hate is a an infection with no cure. You'll find it everywhere even in a video gmae. Best thing to do is to pay it no heed. You should know if someone starts saying stuff liek that they are below you. Don't mess with them it is a complete waste of your time. :)

Okay not to be a jerk or anything but if you don't like it don't play. I mean I kinda think that you would expect it after all of the xx times you have gone into AB. All im sayin is just leave it and turn a-chat off :). Encourageing it only makes it worse!

I AB alot, i'm r8 lux from it and I just turn off LC. it makes everything sooooo much easier. Idiots will be idiots, taking this game way too seriously. Why would people even make fun of being luxon or kurzick, it's a game for gods sake. why argue about somethin so stupid. to me it just shows how retarded those people are. kurzick and luxon mean nothing, yet they make fun of ppl cuz of it.
quit gw for good. end of story.

personally, i just think its funny. trash talk is funny when taken with a pinch of salt. and when you kill that guy it makes it even funnier.
but i agree on the spamming thing, that is annoying. and to me there is a difference between competitive trash talking and spamming.

When someone is insulting vs. either Luxon or Kurzicks in my Party, I warn him, one time only, if he continues I just kick him. No agruement, just kick.
If on the other side, I tend to hunt that person and keep on killing him/her. Even if it means the death of me. I keep on killing them.

It's just Ab, u get sum real idiots.
I once had sum1 who spent an entire 9 min battle slaggin off Germans (sayin stuff to do with murder etc.) and I sent a couple of screens to Anet support, I haven't seen em online for about 5 months :)

I look at it this way, I am confident enough in my PvP skills and know I am good. But with that said sometimes I do get PWND and when people call me a NuB I just respond with nothing or with "Yeah I know, whats your point?"
Makes them feel dumb for calling you a nub...and you know inside you arent and your friends know you arent.

haha...anyways. I'd say it's because people are ignorant. All kinds of ignorance though. From choosing not to accept people because of their personalities or their looks. Perhaps its ignorance that deals with personal thoughts. Most people now and days find something small to admire and because they admire it so much, they’ll protector it like it's their private part. If anyone opposes it, then some kind of argument and thus form a problem between two people.
I think everyone could get along. It's just a matter of choosing to accept things for what they are. Case & Point. Who cares that you dress in all black and paint your nails black. Who cares if you love to shop at the mall for shoes with your GF's every Friday night. Who cares?
Well I care. Just not in the sense of opposing you. If I disagree with someone’s thoughts (and only if those thoughts are extremely bad), then I wont oppose you for it. If one of your friends or someone starts talking to you about something you have no appeal for. Then don't be ignorant. Just listen and give them your thoughts, yet thoughts that don't oppose.
Simply open your mind up. Become more accepting for things.
I was watching this documentary about Christians and their religion. But not exactly about what their religion is about. But instead it was about everything they did to make their religion more accepting. A lot of what those religious people do makes me angry. To see them oppose things like "Dinosaurs" and past history. Saying it's false? WTF dumbs***s! I mean, your trying to promote peace and yet your oppose scientific facts? Religion IMO is a big waste and a big problem to why people can't get along.
Religion gives people the ability to choose something they can all agree on. But, when someone disagrees...it's all out war. Look at past history battles. Crusades...etc...
3 Things that start fighting, war...etc.
1. Religion
2. Love (The kind where a king loves a girl but the girl doesn't like him and instead she likes another king).
3. Lastly the one word "Ignorance".

If you are confident that you know you are good, who cares? And if you lose in a 1 v 1, it doesn't mean he was a better player or that his build is better. Be the bigger one. Just don't fight back, its the worst thing you can do.

You guys think this is bad? The fight between the Horde and Alliance on WoW is a million times worse. On a pvp server opposing players are Kill on sight. And you can't even talk to them! All you can do is die sometimes while people stand over your dead body spitting on you. Its crazy!
