Who uses cannons in PvP?
Rifles are utterly whack.
Swords have a massive cooldown.
You really don't think spitters are op'd?

Splitters may be a tad bit overpowered, but they do have a quick overheat.

I been hearing the SMG's are overpowered a lot.
I've also gathered that SMG's are the most straightforward, "easy" build so far. I suspect it's too soon to see if they're just the Flavor of the Month and whether this will change as people get more experienced and discover more versatile or specialized Builds.
Give it another month and then see. NCSoft might agree with you by that time, or not :-)

i still have yet to try beam splitters...i only use the Tommy Striker-C along with my big Blitz Rocket Launcher <_<

I just got some dual Beam-Spitters (9500 credit ones), and they are absolutely awesome.
They overheat fast though.
