Sorry to bother yuo sir, but there's a LOT of teams out there without the slightlest as to how the Enhanced Netcode works. Naturally, they refuse to even try it much less adopt it. Personally, I believe it's the best damn thing to happen to UT2004.
I believe if the creator's mouth spoke on how it worked in an official post we could silence their bickering and get it accepted all over.

umod version should have put a readme in your ut2004/help folder, no biggie

There is also a "view latest readme" option in the UTcomp section of this site.
