I used to solo a stalker in Triumph, plus I play only once in a while so it took me for ever to lvl. Getting a group going was near impossible. That’s when I moved to Freedom. I made a new build on Thurday and, playing only the evenings, by Sunday, Genocide Jane was lvl 9!!!! All thanks to team mayhem. Remember that the bigger the group, the more opponents the machine throws at you.

Although triumph is a low population server, thats not the reason that you didnt get an invite to a team it was becuase you were a stalker :O ive leveled my stalker to 40 through mostly solo work and personally playing in pvp and making friends in PvP then i get invites to their groups >.> ive noticed the difference between playing a stalker and a brute as ive been invited to teams more times on my lvl 23 brute then i have ever been on my lvl 40 stalker >.> thats just my opinion but..... it may have something to do with my comp not being able to handle lag on big servers >.>

Who knows why people don't invite strangers.... NOOBage comes to mind...not knowing if the person can play in a team...not wanting to waste their time looking/finding the wrong type of player(s)....
There are many reasons teams are hard to come by....
I do think that Brutes get more team invites than Stalkers, simply because of the nature of the ATs. Brutes can take more damage and do more DPS than Stalkers (once AS hits, the Stalker is just a regular fighter...).
However, that's just my opinion, for whatever it's worth.
I leveled just about all of my Villains Solo, and I've been pretty successful like that.
