Right, so my computer is hating me right now..
Lately my screen freezes, as in I'm unable to click on anything, links and etc. And sometimes it works ok but I can't right-click on anything.
This often happens when I'm running several programs at the time. As well when I'm running several programs, another one won't open.
I would think this had something to do with my computers memory, but I have 3GB and that should be fine. I'm running Vista btw.
So any ideas?
Btw if you would need other specs as well just write so

Seriously though, Hard to say. Depending on what all you got running there could be a conflict or something. There should be a system tool to look at how much of your memory is being used.
I don't run Vista so not sure on specific issues with it.
You might want to also check on things running in the background that could be switched off.

memory leak or some kind of conflict perhaps tho I don't know as much as I sound like I know. windows keeps a log of all the things that happen.
make a note of the time it happens and look in umm event veiwer if vista has one... perhps its on of the applicaitons having an error because it was written with a different version of windows in mind and simply updating the program might help.

how many programs do you have running? What are the programs? and do you notice it more when using a certain program? also when did you start noticing the problem? was it after updating, installing, or removing some program? I remember hearing something about Vista only letting you run so many programs at the same time.

I don't run any special programs or such, just IE7, Windows live messenger, iTunes and that's it basically it.
I may have some tabs open in IE7, but it shouldn't be a problem.
This random freezing kicks in after the computer has been on for a while, and when there's more than, perhaps 6 programs open, and then it won't go away until I restart.

You could be over-heating one or more parts of your PC.
How long have you had this PC? I ran my old one pretty hard over the course of about 3 years and had something similar start happening, I was told it could be a Capacitor or other small component burn out on my MoBo.
Might want to check all the fans and vents on your PC. If they are getting dusty, clean them.

I've have it for maybe 6 months or a bit more, and I have opened it up for cleaning once, might be time for another one
