Starting out with a new Hunter Build.

I want to make a new build to use mainly for Soloing, maybe some Duoing, but mainly to level up to get to PvP Dueling and gaming. As such, this rules out many of the support builds or builds that HAVE to get group support. Basically a Jack of All trades.
What sets would work best, be it Heroe or Villian (yeah, I know that CoV have their own forum, but they don’t have a PvP topic)

What archetype has worked for you? Which sucks? What villian is the hardest to beat?

From what I've read in general,
Blasters and Stalkers tend to work best...
Is this true?

RE: Starting out with a new Hunter Build.

I dont have much personal PVP expericence. But I have seen a Fire/Rad Troller tear the town up. It was pretty awesome to watch in a 1 on 1 set up. Larger scale battles he didnt fare so well, he kept getting snuck up on. Darn Stalkers.

I also think the new defiance set up will help blasters become even more powerful in the PVP zones. Problem with them is they are so darn squishy. But when proper tactics are used, they can be a huge menace to the unsuspecting player.

Tank'ns my Bidness and Bidness is GOOD!

RE: Starting out with a new Hunter Build.

For someone just starting out in the game, for both PvE and PvP I'd advise Spine/Regen. It is pretty much the best scrapper build for PvP, and it is very good in PvE, both solo and on a team. If you need build advice, ask away, I'll toss something basic and easy for leveling out for ya anytime. =D
