hey little hikimi here
proud member of hugs.
.i was wonderin if anyone knew any good player made sort of minigame types. like dodge ball and tag the two i know.
if ya want them ill stick them here. this is cuz i may before or on crimbo day try to get people to have a games night. where we play a few minigames for fun. :)
dodgeball
mes/ele
fastcasting 12+1+3
airmagic 12
runes= 5 sup fast casting to bring player health to 105. no armor bonusus or health bonusus allowed.
For a weapon use a sword with a 20% enchanting mod and an offhand that give extra energy as well as giving 20% chance of faster recharge and 20% chance of faster casting. Nothing that provides added armor or health.
simple rules if ya hit ya die and other team gets a point.
team with most points wins. also if ya want ya can have a line up setup.
with 2 teams in a line and only running side ways to dodge blasts.
lighting orb
elemental attunement
air attunement
windborne speed
tag
ele/para
12 in air magic
0 in command and enrgy storage
shock
windborne speed
"cant touch this"
rules. shock is the tag. must wait 3 secs before tagging another player when taged.
cant touch this is like your time out but make sure your command is at 0 so it only lasts one second.
no den but if you must it is the center shrine and has a time limit of 5 seconds and the person who is IT can not hang round there.
and person who is not IT forfits the round.
scoring: 2 methods.
play for 3 mins person who is IT at end of round recives one point person with most points at end looses.
play as lastman standing gametype. with each person who is caught also becoming it.
when caught must shout i am IT or i am CAUGHT.
rather then prizes if you want the looser must do something.
like pay a for the next party drinks included.
so thats tag. its also my own creation so feed back wuld be nice plz thx :)
and thats them two so let me know.

Long ago when I was in Amp, I held races for green items and other prizes, like minipets and ectos. The idea is that anyone would bring whatever their best running build was, and the first to the finishing line would get their pick of the items, then second place got to pick, and so on. Every race would be in a different explorable area, with varying degrees of difficulty. After some tweaking, I found that dropping several piles of dust at the finish line worked great for logging who came in what place, because often some people would nearly tie.
It was pretty fun (and I had to unload a lot of stored up stuff anyway), but I think I held too many races in one day (three sets every two hours, for about 8 hours). I was well burned out for awhile.
I'm guildless atm, but I've been thinking of holding another round, either advertised here or somewhere in game, as I need to unload stuff once again...

err.. ummm a ele primary cannot have fastcasting. that is a mesmers primary attribute. but the general rules and the way you play looks fun.

I'm a big fan of drunken scrimmage/quest/mission.
As a gametype, I mean that the crazy red-tinted-world-warping drunk effect is in place the entire time, (I was happy to run into a similar, GW sanctioned thing with the whole 'Norn Alemoot' deal).
Getting sloppy drunk IRL and playing can be fun too, albeit a bit pathetic.

Yeah, there was one that was a three part race from Ventari's to the Totem Axe Behemoths in the Reed Bog.
Probably the easiest race was along Saoshang Trail. The (unexpected) hardest proved to be a three part run from ToA to Druid's Overlook. All the runners got degen'd to death along the last leg. xD
