| Fleshing out the Concept of Darkness |

As I evolve the concept for my new solo/duoing/PvP build (yes, it’s taking long, but I want to make it good, conceptwise and mecanic wise) I have narrowed it down to an idea, DARK. I did not place this in one of the specific forums because I don’t have the concept filled out.
What do I mean? You know, fear of the dark, darkness itself coming to life, blah,blah, blah. So basically this is the main concept. It’s an evolution of my previous stalker Garra Negra (in triumph). I know I want a primary and secondary Dark, and I know I want as a travel power Teleport (the whole stepping into and out of shadows thing). I know he will be a mutant, it goes with the whole black/dark gray/indigo Nightcrawler skin thing. I know that I am preping him to reach level 15-20 to start PvPing him. With that in mind, I do not have to plan a lvl 50 long run plan, just an evective medium/low level plan.
The problem is what archetype?
I have 2 routes I could go.
1)Scrapper. I could go head on into the fray, and maybe even get the concealment set to support the concept of “dark slayer”.
2)Defender. Here I could complete the “master of darkness” thing.

i know this is not cov forums and i dont know if there is even a dark dark for stalkers but i think a stalkers would fit your consept.
you know like hide in showdow strike when least exspiceting it.

Scrapper will probably be your best bet. Dark Defenders don't fair too well in the solor world. They operate better on a team.
Dark Scrappers are really cool though. One of the few Armor sets with any kind of Psi resistance. (Now Willpower has it...)

Onion - L50 - Katana/Super Reflexes/Body Mastery Scrapper
Scotch Bonnet Girl - L50 - Fire Aura/Fire Melee/Pyre Mastery Tanker
RonJ73 - L50 - Stone/Energy Aura Brute

both options have stealth, resistance to energy/neg/psi.
dark defender is that master of stalemate. you can make it so your enemy doesnt hit you once. however, depending on what AT you are fighting, you might not have the power to defeat them, and just get bored and one of you walk away.
dark scrapper has less as far as debuffs and -acc bonuses, but you will be able to actually defeat your opponent. that said, if you team with a blaster or scrapper to back you up with damage as a dark defender, you will be very very hard to beat.
