So i saw this on youtube.. and i had to share here not only because this is what gw looked like before 2004, but when you look at the warrior in the end, what sword do you see?
Also saw the crenellated sword throught the video too..
it looks much more cartoony like WoW, probably since the guys who started GW used to work for blizzard. i liked the guy with the crazy-@$$ tiki-ish mask. i want one

yeah and the fact that GW has been around so long, WoW players lie saying WoW has been around longer, btw look up some beta wow vids, wow hasnt even changed one bit, not even the GUI unlike gw....

I also figured out why they told us they couldnt allow us to choose between the character screens in gw (the different programming between the character select screens), like back to the Factions pedestal or before that.
In a video i saw the campfire one and it shows all characters at once, this is completly diff to what it is now so if anyone wondered that, now you know lol.

WoW and GW may have been around the about the same amount of time, WoW was actually in development before Guild Wars, however they released at the same time. BUT with that said, it has changed a LOT! I have been in since original beta and the game is totally different now.
We have mods to change the look of the UI and other things we dont need the devs to do it for us.
I am so glad they changed the way GW looks from that. I wouldn't have started playing if thats what I was looking at.
I completely agree they made the right move in chaning the graphics. It just looks sooo much like WoW and any free MMORPG out there so far. I would NEVER of bought this if it looked like that at all lol
wow crazy so thats what gw was going to be like...hmm i kinda like what it is now but, it might have been entertaining like that haha. Ya they should so bring some of theose enemies into gw.
I want original gw background back, been soooooooooooooooooooo long since i've seen it.
