Now, this does not happen all the time, nor with every character I play, but sometimes when I have one of my characters in the Talos Island Wentworths and click on a Went's employee to open the window and start putting things up for bid...the entire thing locks down. I mean locks down, non responsive game. Everything else on my system works slick as a whistle, even during this lock down. Any suggestions or ideas as to what this may be? Any one else suffer this problem?

Yes, I do. I find it happens to me especially in Talos. I think it has something to do with the placement of WW. There are a lot of things in that small area: train station, WW, and it is right on the edge of a zone so you have the zone intro music everytime you cross the line. Sometimes I will have to click on the WW rep a couple of times before WW loads, or I'll get about a 15-second lock-up while WW info loads. It seems better if I wait for the zone intro music to stop playing before clicking WW.

I think I'll bug report it and see if they fix it.

I usually use the Kings Row Wentworths and have never experienced this.

I know some other zones have better wents (lag etc.) than others. Once all my sales are final in the Talos Wentworths I am moving to Kings Row. I still think the Devs need to address this.

Just wondering, do you have some means of checking your System memory? I'm spoiled by my G15 keyboard which continuously keeps me informed of that. I'd like to know if your memory fills up at the time or not. I think it's either that, or the Game somehow ends up in a waiting-for-data-from-server-loop and doesn't recover.

You dont have to wait to move to a new Went's location. All of your Talos sales/bids will be in KR's or Steel's. Its universal and not zone dependent.

I think he means he'll start using the WW in Kings instead of using the one in Talos

I don't get the crash but the lag between clicking the Rep and the shopping screen can take up to 45 secs at times, most times it's about 30 secs. Some times the display is from the last alt to use the shop and that can hang there for a the same time as getting to the shopping screen.
Selling - The lag in posting prices for items I'm selling can take a few clicks to get it to work. There is also a 15-20 sec lag in seeing the last 5 prices as well.
Buying - I normally get the same 15+ second delay for the system to see my bid. It took 2 min, once.
Passing by any Wenty's and I get hit with some lag, sometimes bad enough to end up with a lost mapserver warning, sometimes 3 or 4 in a row. Bad enough to force me to stop and let the system to catch up with things. The Talos hub is the worst with a full DC about 1 in 6 times using that base portal some days.

Two things...first Chunk..."BABY RUTH!" Goonies Rule.
Second, odd, because I went to Wentworths in KR and opened an auction/bid screen and none of my currents popped up.

According to my system monitor, I have plenty of memory to spare, but my processor is slammed, 100% capacity.

Well 100% CPU usage isn't necessarily a Bad thing, unless it's one process running away on you and it won't let go. Which is what I think is happening. :-/

Sounds like a dev issue then, if everyone is experiencing a significant delay interacting with the Wentworths then perhaps it needs to be addressed.

Ok that is really odd. Just to double check myself, I started in Atlas, placed a bid, went to KR picked up item and then placed it on sale again. From KR I started another bid and then ran to Steel. In Steel placed another bid and then ran to Talos. Once in Talos I checked and everything I had was current.
If Wents is not working for you in a "universal" manner, I would /bug it to the devs.

All: to be fair I logged in and went to the Went's in Kings Row. Brought up the window fairly quickly, and lo and behold...no active items for sale. I /bug reported the issue, and logged off (I was only able to spare a few minutes to test this). I gt the standard e-mails from support, and the next afternoon when I log on, I enter the KR Wents click on the Wentworths Employee and Bing! All of my active items (including bids) appear. So, problem solved...kinda.
