Hey,
I'd appreciate if someone with a little more experience than me could help me with some slotting of a build I've made.
If there's anything I should change, or if you know a better build to go with, feel free to speak! ;)
This is what I was planning to go with:
Level 1: Power Bolt
Level 1: Power Thrust
Level 2: Power Blast
Level 4: Build Up
Level 6: Hover
Level 8: Swift
Level 10: Bone Smasher
Level 12: Sniper Blast
Level 14: Fly
Level 16: Health
Level 18: Power Burst
Level 20: Stamina
Level 22: Aid Other
Level 24: Aid Self
Level 26: Aim
Level 28: Hasten
Level 30: Power Boost
Level 32: Nova
Level 35: Boost Range
Level 38: Total Focus
Level 41: Conserve Power
Level 44: Snow Storm
Level 47: Frozen Armos
Level 49: Hibernate
I wasn't sure if I should have waited until the mid 20's with the Sniper Blast, but 12 is what I ended up with.
And I wasn't sure if Conserve Power was necessary, but as you can see I grabbed it at level 41 anyway...
Since I'm new to this game, I really don't know that much about the Energy/Energy blaster. But I've decided this is what I want to start my career as a hero with.
I hope there's someone who can help a beginner with his first steps into the life as a hero!

just a question. Do u want Fly for any specific reasons? if not, id get ss, and get hasten early on ( my opinion) it really help at low lvls when u dont have many attack and then u dont have to worry about recharge

i would get rid of power boost. with an nrgy/nrgy, it wont do much more than boost your medicine powers. i would grab conserve energy a lot sooner as well.
as for slotting, im not sure about that, but id bet someone else will help with that soon enough

All the information I have on this character, and it's powers is based on the information you get about 'em in Mids' Hero Designer, and from some posts on the forum.
And from what I've read, blasters is a lil' lack of hit points, which is why I decided to go with Fly. I didn't grab Hasten that early, simply because of the endurance, and my lack of knowledge...
About Power Boost, Mids' Hero Designer says it boosts the secondary effect of your powers. But if it's necessary to grab it, I don't know!
Maybe you guys can come up with better builds, and tell me why you did those choices you did. :)

Yes, Blasters have little hitpoints. I wouldn't call it a lack of though. They have amazing offensive abilities and massive damage, and that is compensated with low hitpoints. Fly may be the slowest of the four travel powers, in my opinion it is one of the coolest and it's really safe, because you can soar high above all the dangers of Paragon City. Hasten is a nice power to have, but not at all necessary. I always take it relatively late in my builds, because I see it as a gimmick, not a necessity.
Power Boost, as you said, increases the 'secondary' effects of all your powers. This includes healing, knockback, all mez effects etc.. That means it will make Aid Self extremely powerful. What's more important though, it will increase the knockback from all your Energy Blast powers by an immense amount, and your melee attacks from Energy Manipulation will stun the enemies for a longer amount of time, giving you more time to stack stuns to break through someone's mez protection.
About the build: Looks very good to me! All I'd do is place Boost Range at level 49, and push all powers back, if you understand what I mean.

First off, unrelated and all, but Welcome to Gameamp! We'll all help out as much as we can.
Secondly, join the Gameamp.com global channel. It's a great resource while in-game. There's usually a fair amount of people from the site on there.

Seem to be a standard E/E build. The only thing I would change, and it's more because I'd go crazy with no AoEs, is swap Power Push for Energy Torrent. I'd slit my wrists if I had a toon with zero AoEs. ;)
