i have a level 40 blaster that i plan on respecing soon. i skipped out on time bomb, but i got the trip mines. I love the trip mines but i was told that a trip mine could prematurely set off a time bomb.
Is it true, and if so is it worth taking both of them and using them together?
Thanks

I haven't confirmed it as my AR/DEV Blaster isn't high enough a level.
But I imagine Trip Mine would set off a Time Bomb if an enemy set off the Trip Mine.
After all, both bombs are "sensitive to explosions".

I have never heard this before, but that does not mean it is true. Based on what I have seen, it is not true. Either way, time bomb is not that good.. It is hard to set up in a mob, and the time factor... ew

While leveling up my Energy/Devices way back when, I never was a big fan of Time bomb. I can say that a few friends of mine had success with it, in conjuction with Trip Mines, once they learned to time them together, it became a second nuke. Very powerful, just didn't fit into my playstyle. Then again, I got very bored with devices in general, because my playing speed was too fast to make good use of most of devices. :)
