Christmas!
Ok, so Christmas is here and Spiked Eggnogs are back, well other than the snowman lair ones.
So, for all those out there that want the drunkard title, want it faster, or want to make money getting spiked eggnog, here is a short guide to all of it.
Getting Spiked Eggnog
First things first, how do you get the spiked eggnog. Well, now that Christmas is here the fastest way right now is killing Gargoyles.
-Location
The best place for killing gargoyles the fastest is Nolani Academy. Just exit the portal into Diessa Lowlands and start killing the gargoyles that are outside. The run takes a maximum of 15 minutes once you know where you are going.
Now, what build do you need to farm these guys? They are all low levels so really, any build will do. My only suggestions are that you bring at least one healing skill and maybe a running skill to speed things up. other than that just take as much damage as you can.

-Speeding up your farming
Other than taking a running skill to speed things up, there is also a little portal trick that can speed up your farming a tiny bit. if you exit the portal, then enter town again, then leave, Th next time you resign and land in town you will be right outside the portal. now you can simply press back twice and run out the portal again. (also works in other farming locations.
So now you have the Gargoyle skulls so head on to Ascalon City and trade every two of you gargoyle skulls for 1 Spiked Eggnog from Necromancer Malaise.
Drinking all that Ale!
ok, so drinking 1,000 minutes or even 10,000 minutes of Ale is really long and boring so what can you do about this? Well, you can do the guild hall zoning trick. This trick does not work for everyone but it is worth a try.
-How is the trick done?
Right now the only working place for this i have found is from Nolani district 1 or 2 Anerican (have not tried Europian). I am Zoning to Isle of Solitude but any guild hall should do. This method requires you to do some testing. Now, in nolani open your inventory, with all the spiked eggnog in it, and open your guild window. Double click ONE spiked eggnog to drink it and quickly press 'Guild Hall' in your guild window. Once in your Guild Hall press leave guild hall. You should have now received the 3 minutes from your spiked eggnog without actually waiting 3 mins. I would play around with this some to make sure things work for you. When i do this i do 10 nogs at a time to make sure I keep getting 30 mins from it.
More info about zoning keep in mind some info is outdated
-How else to drink ale?
Well, the other way is to just drink it and wait. i also use this method. I drink ale while doing homework, writing on forums(like now), or when I am playing other games, or when Im buying/selling stuff.

* Trade skulls for Spiked nog in Ascolan
Steps to Quick Minutes
Start in Nolani
1)drink eggnog
2)press guild hall
3)press leave guild hall
4)repeat

nice guide zoaka!!! havnt tried it yet myself but looks rly detailed as it is (actually i'm in nolani right now =P) and plus the number of ppl right now in nolani is crazy lol everyones talking bout this XD

Mind explain this a little bit more clearer? I mostly do trading not farming so I don't know anything about this

spiked eggnog gives 3 points so i will trade spiked eggnog for something that gives me 3 ST points. normal eggnog gives 1 minute drunk so il trade normal for something that gives 1 ST point.

If you are farming in one place over and over again you can resign and land outside the town portal.
Before you start farming, exit the town into the place you will be farming. Now enter town again. At this point you can exit and start farming whatever it is you want to farm. When finished your farming run just type /resign and you will end up in town, beside the portal to the farming place. This just saves you from running all over town to get to the portal again.

Hmmm, what guild hall are you using?
Also, im finding out it may depend on the time of day. For me it has been working 100% during the evening when there are a lot of people farming. In the mornings i lost 7 mins and later at night I lost 20 mins. You need to do some experamenting with this as guild halls districts and number of people can all come into effect.

I'm doing this atm with my dervish, i run a dwayna's avatar build with lots speed buffs, dwayna helps alot to get rid of the mesmer hex's that slow you down alot :)

First of all nice guide.
In regards to the zoning trick you are refering to, this is an indepth guide about that trick here (most of you will probs know this guide)
I myself have hunters isle as guild hall and from emberlight camp to hunters isle the trick works great.
Many isms are defined as an act or practice by some, while also being defined as the doctrine or philosophy behind the act or practice by others.

Sadly that guide on Guru is outdated and most of the places on there no longer work. You can still read throguh it to learn more and try out places, but don't waste to much money

off topic a bit but ive found when im farming these attack skills are no real use because two or three normal swings can drop any of the monsters on the run, pair this with a pet and an asura summon and you're set, for those of you who farm this on your warriors heres the build i use
Dwarven Stability
Melandru's Resillence
Troll Unguent
Apply Poison
Charm Animal
Comfort Animal
I Am The Strongest
Summon Ruby Djinn
this build mows through them like theres no tomorrow, the PvE skills arent by any means neccesary they just speed things along
