| Enchanted Snowmen (and similar event Hench) |

OK here is the deal, I am thinking that having these holiday henchmen in your group helps your personal drop rates. Or maybe I am just going crazy. . .
Details:
I have been working my way through NF missions/prime quests today. My drop rate has been pretty average crap rate all day long. I spent 2 hrs. stuck on one mission and decided to take a break and run some of the holiday quests.
I decided to grab snowmen for my hench a *BAM*!!! I am getting gold (money) drops off 1/3 of the mobs and Items off about another 1/3.
I remembered similar drop rates back when using the Halloween NPCs for my henchies.
Thoughts:
Maybe these Henchies effect the drop rates as per normal party size increase but do not get any drops assigned to them.
Or maybez I am just teh craziez :P

Never used them, but i think it's just luck...
Because there still seen as henchmen.
But Who Knows xD? Maybe it is affecting Drop rates

I'm not sure if this is related but I've been taking snowmen with other Hench to do Q in NF and Proph and the amount of gold items I've been getting in ridiculous. Maybe it's just luck but overall i got over 20 gold items (not max, granted) by doing the quests.

maybe anet haven't programmed them to affect drop rates, as they have been the same henchmen since 05 , so maybe they haven't been programmed to affect the loot scaling , it would make sense i think =/

i guess this is true, i got bored and decided to do some wintersday quests.
BOOM, all of a sudden, from almost every monster we encountered, i got the loot.
golds/purples and ofc. money.
i even got 2 skale fins, from 2 skales. some peepz will buy those for 500g a piece.

Kewl glad some others seem to be thinking similar.
I had been doing Quests and missions all day (seriously like 11-12 Hrs.) and only got average drop rates and absolutely no Candy Cane Shards. As soon as I go out with the snowmen I got Items and Money dropping like crazy and getting CCS at a decent rate (at least 1 during the course of a quest, usually 2-3)
Even got a gold Long Sword with a Sword +1 19% mod. (wish it had max dmg)
I was having to hit up a merchant/storage a lot more often than normal.

Well, if you've got more than one Enchanted Snowman in your party, and you map somewhere where they'll be removed from it, only one 'Enchanted Snowman leaves party' appears. It's quite possible, since GW isn't designed to handle multiple characters with the same identity in the same instance, (a second Vekk in a party becomes 'Asuran Elementalist'), that, in a party of 8, with 4 Enchanted Snowmen, the Snowmen would only take 1/5 of the drops, being assigned the equivalent of 1 player, instead of 4.
