Recently ive seen several posts saying people have been getting extraordinarily good drops with the winterday henchmen...well today i had some time to kill before a family dinner so i did a few UW runs first run gave me 3 ecto a key and two golds, next run 4 ecto 3 golds. Run after that 2 ecto 3 keys 1 gold. Had to leave after the third run and havent had the time to sit and run some more yet but perhaps a-net increased the drop rates durring wintersday? That or im one lucky SoB but with my recent Wii injury i doubt thats the case :-p

probs cos people are farming other areas , so the drop rates go back up.

this may not be entierly true...while in ToA i still saw a decent amount of sb/55 farmers or ss/55/smites/ursanway grps forming im sure gargoyles have distracted alot of the w/rt farmers but this would only account for a small percentage, not enough to warrant a 1 ecto drop rate shooting up to 3-4 ecto

Also concider that due to the Holidays many people are not able to get on as much.
You also have parents taking time off work and keeping their kids from playing as much.
Not to mention those distracted by new games and consoles (and other new "toys"

My 55 partner and I [SS] did a run and netted one ecto each, a key and a gold.

Think you are correct. Been farming low level areas RE: outside Ascolan and adjacent areas solo with my ele. Lots of dyes.. everything except black. Also, lots of stuff to trade with NPC for Wintersday wintergreen cains. Gotten alot of Charr hides as well. Much more than I remember getting before.
