Questions 'bout VG:SOH XD

I got a couple questions I was just wondering about.
If you can answer them I would be very happy ^^,

1)Even though you are a diplomat or a crafter can you still get experience from killing things? I notice it saying you get exp from diplomat missions and likewise on crafters, but.. not for sure if you to can get exp thru killing monsters. Since thats how Adventurers get them right?

2)This is kinda random, but how many letters can you have in a name? and can you have spaces?

3)Do skills cost a lot?

4)Is there dungeons in VG? If so how are they like?

RE: Questions 'bout VG:SOH XD

Welcome to GameAmp, Yew! Let me try to have a couple of answers for you.

1) There are three really independant paths to follow, each with their own xp gains. Diplomacy, crafting and adventuring. Adventuring is basically the same as killing. Killing things is what makes you gain adventuring xp. But you don't have to pick one of the three lines. You can be a crafter, diplomat and adventurer all at the same time.

2) You can have spaces. No idea how many letters, but quite a few. Plenty for a nice first and last name.

3) No, they are pretty cheap. Money is not really an issue. Maybe if you permanently want uber gear and armor you get into trouble. But otherwise you should be ok. Buying a boat and house is the most costly.

4) The whole world of Telon is filled with dungeons. They range from low levels to serious end-game raid dungeons. Most dungeons are pretty tough, but very beautiful and deep. Some of them are obvious, and contacts will ask you to go there. But some very nice dungeons are a bit hidden, and a great joy to explore. In general, the game really shines when you like exploring unknown lands, temples and caves.

In general, vanguard is a really beautiful game. I really enjoyed it for the 8 months I played it. I stopped for now, but I might be back. I will email you a trial key on Wednesday (when I get back to work where I left the paper with my last two codes).

I think the game has only two flaws. One is that it is impossible to team up with somebody outside your adventuring range. So it makes it sometimes hard to find teammates. And two is that due to the first problem, and releasing the game a bit too early, it got a bit too small player base. Making finding a team again extra hard. But apart from that it is really beautiful, and worth exploring for months and months.

RE: Questions 'bout VG:SOH XD

Thankyou for answering my questions ^^, I was able to try Vanguard yesterday and unfortunly.. My computer can't handle it lol. Way to laggy even on the lowest setting. Though of what I saw the game was good and I preety much enjoyed it, but the lag I just can't deal with it. Seems i'm going to have to stick with WoW for awhile T.T Anyways thanks for your time maybe in the future when I get a better computer i'll try once again.
