OK simple questions....
Will the patriots go 16-0?
(Please...this not a discussion about whose better, who sucks, blah blah blah. Just answer the question.)
If you want you can predict the score of the game and we can see who gets the closest.
My prediction...Being a HUGE Michigan fan, I am Patriots all the way!!! Tom Brady got kind of over shadowed when he was at MIchigan. I'm glad to see him doing so well in the NFL
Score Patriots 45 Giants 17

Now it is looking inevitable...
But I would go out and buy an Eli Manning jersey if the giants won! I am a huge steelers fan and I almost died when we lost, dumb Anthony Smith...
But it's ok if they go 16-0 because the Steelers are going to beat them in the playoffs when it counts!

Actually it hasn't...technically speaking. The 72 Dolphins were 14-0 then finished 17-0 which included the playoffs and Super Bowl. IF they win the Super Bowl they will finish 19-0

Ah, I hope the Giants ruin it for them since I live in NY and all. This is especially because all the bandwagonists that started loving the Patriots ever since they won the Super Bowl against the Rams a few years back.
Pick a team you like and stick with it. As soon as the Pats start losing games, watch everyone jump to the next best team.
No prediction on score but I think the Giants will give them a challenge like the Jets sort of did.

Actually it hasn't...technically speaking. The 72 Dolphins were 14-0 then finished 17-0 which included the playoffs and Super Bowl. IF they win the Super Bowl they will finish 19-0 |
Actually It has technically speaking. You said 16-0 and the 72 Dolphins did go 16-0. There was no mention of regular season or post season included. Now if they go 18-0 or 19-0 then technically speaking its not been done before because back in 72 they didn't play that many games as well as there was not as many teams back then. The thing is that really doesn't matter for it would just mean they would tie for the record of going all season undefeated. So in respect to Kanna he's right its been done before and it can happen again.
I'm with you Crossbow I've been a fan of the same team all my life and even though they have won only 1 game this season I'm still not changing.

confusing
i'm with you guys about the band wagon jumpers, i've been a Browns fan my whole life (even when we didn't have a team) and i hate people that just started loving the Patriots in the past few years just because they got very good

The Miami Dolphins of 72 went 14-0 in the regular season. They went on to win the Super Bowl and finish 17-0. But no team in the modern area of the 16 game schedule has gone 16-0, or 15-0 for that matter.

Then you weren't watching the game when they won and were 15-0 and announced as the first ever team to go 15-0 in the regular season. |
LOL like I said before thats only cause of the fact there are more teams now and they play more games there is nothing that could prove the 72 Dolphins couldn't have done it if they played that many games back then. Thats why all it would boil down to is an undefeated season if the Pats can go 19-0 no better or no worse than the team that done it before. But I was just referring to the fact of regular season wasn't mentioned as a factor in the post of can they go 16-0 it was just can they go 16-0.
Oh and nope I didn't watch that game. I pretty much only watch my team when they play.
I'm neither here nor there but everywhere. I am who I am and nothing more but yet I'm nothing less than what I strive to be.

since the giants have been doing horrifically at home, and since the points are averaging like 20-30 points a game, I'm going to say the patriots are going to win with Brady and Moss beating the respective touchdowns records in a season
IGNS:
Barbarian Two One O, W/Anything, All 3 campaigns beaten
Barrage Two One O, R/me/mo, mainly used for B/P
Monk Two One O, Mo Restarted for survivor title
Ganker Two One O, A/E going to use for ToPK in a little bit

I predict their quarterback will throw their arm out, their best running back will pop his knee out of his socket, and they will still win the Superbowl.

I do believe New England will go undefeated. I have been a NE fan since Drew Bledsoe was quarterback and I live in New Jersey. I'm not a bandwagon jumper. I hope to see a really close game, close games are really exciting.

It pains me to say this because i am giants fan. But with shockey out and eli being eli chances are we will get crushed this saturday =-(. Personally I was hoping that the dolphins would have beaten them last week just so that the patriots would be super embarassed but that was just a pipe dream. Now all I can do is hope and wait to see if the patriots manage to get beaten before they achieve the record.

My opinion...The Pats could rest their stars and probabaly still pull of a tight game against the Giants. They are just that much better.
I became a Pats fan the day they landed Tom Brady. I was a mark for him at Michigan and always thought he had the talent, the poise, and the maturaity. But my heart will always be for my hoemtown boys...The Kansas City Chiefs!!
Grew up in KC til I was 10, then Michigan til I was 29, then moved back here to KC for the past 7 years.

Technically they will finish 18-0 since their first playoff week is a bye. =D
Oh and New England is not cocky at all....and if they are they have the right to be...by far.

They still have to win 2 games to make the super bowl. So 19-0 is what they would be. Teans without the bye have to win 3 to make the SB

the thing i hate about the pats is the whole cheating scandal and the fact that even if they had 3 losses and were secured into the playoffs they wouldn't rest their starters, they would just jack up the score cuz they Bellichick is a douche in so many ways...
but nonetheless they're still the best team atm

Every team does that stuff. Foolish if you think not. Why do you think coaches put thier play board over their mouths when they call in plays? The Pats just happened to get caught. Teams do anything they can to steal plays, from someone in the stands taping it to hiring a asst coach (or even a water boy...whole other story there)that can lip read. It's all part of the game. Hell, in baseball its considered an art to be able to steal signs.
No opinion either way on Bellicheck. To me his win/loss records speaks about the job he does.

This is a fun discussion for us Football fans. Since what you said makes no sense I can only interpret it as an attempt to start a fight. Since your post, as gibberish as it is, has ZERO to do with the topic. So run along unless you want to particpate in the discussion.

I have always been and will always be a hard core STEELERS FAN WOOT
I wore facepaint to school after we won the superbowl. Didnt make it very far I had to take it off...
I have a huge problem with bandwagon fans, I have no proble if youve always liked a team, just stick with it.
Also my dad played football all his life; played in college and reffed college for 35 years, and his dad was a coach so all football info I hear I pass through him first.
