Hi,
I've just installed UT2004 on my Fujitsu laptop but quite often it's impossible to play because my player moves on its own into a given direction and fires on its own with the primary fire. When that happens, sometimes the system beeps as if the keyboard buffer would be full in DOS.
Is there a keyboard problem, maybe associated with Fujitsu laptops? I know that on some old keyboards you can't press more than N keys simultaneously.
What puzzles me is that the player also fires by itself, and the fire is triggered by the mouse.
In Doom3 I didn't have any of these problems and the keys are bound the same way.

this can happen if you were pushing buttons while load the map/connecting to server. Perhaps that's the problem.

patch your game, then post the user.ini.

search the Atari forum as well. I know I saw this problem posted there once...
btw, while I don't have UT on my work laptop, my IBM thinkpad does this often (the mouse just drifts even after I'm done moving the mouse with my pointer). You might want to try disabling your touchpad or whatever is on your laptop. At least to isolate the problem.
