worst thing i saw in gw

im a old runner of Gate of madness, im running 4 guys for 6-8k, is a long and hard run (40 mins) and they must pay after Shiro (last boss, Lich, is easy), after they agree with that at begin.

a guy from France didnt payed, he said he dont know english (a lie) and he have no money in inventory, and we all lost 1 hour and 30 minutes waiting for him to leave (CUZ I DONT FINISH with scammers). Really i dont saw in my life some like that, prolly only criminals have a so bad behavior.

prolly ill report him, but i know anet wont care. The others guys in party have reported him i think...

he lost connection and we killed fast Lich before he reconect lol... i think he didnt get the quest, right? he was at the end in party but "gray" and at a moment he disapeared (he wasnt online too). I gave back all the gold while waiting and all left without paying, who care anyway...

That's why I'm more of a "half at beginning, half at end" method. Even if they don't pay at the end, I still get money for doing my job (although no one has skipped out at the end payments yet >.<)

Showing the money does nothing. I can show you 100K and still scam you. 50start/50end is the best solution. It requires trust on both sides. Plus the runner makes at least some if someone does screw him/her.

u dont got it, i dont care about money, i gave all gold back, but about fair play. That why i waited 2 hours, prolly i made a mistake cuz all payed and lost their time but at least the bad guy was out. Ill post soon i hope few screens and if a person from anet ill see this post i hope he ill be banned cuz the other guys have reported him i think but im to lazy to report, the play.nc site is imposible for me lol, hard to login...

cuz i got a answer from anet at a report where they say they look at forums. Lets see if is real, cuz what i have reported here is really to much.

remember that this french guy didnt want to leave and all others lost almost 2 hours, yes 2 hours because him. NO comment

I really don't like to run people anymore because of scamming, i have been scammed many times...and it really pisses me off..i have never reported because i don't feel like taking the time to report someome when i didnt even take a screeny...oh well... so i don't run people anymore unless they are a friend in RL or a really good friend in gw or someone in my family that plays..i won't make them pa and i'll run them but for other people..if im running you must pay, when they scam me that puts ME down so i no longer run.

people get scammed w/e big deal. Running you will always get scammed and there are always scammers, how is this the worst thing u've seen in GW. im pretty sure youve seen worse than this cuz this is really nothing to go ape shit about.

if u have not time to read dont post... There isnt about scam, is much more... Is about how can a guy to not leave a game for more than 1 hour, making other 4 guys to wait for him

and w/e big deal... ya even a little scam is a big deal. Cuz scammers can be terrorists in real life lol.

ooor pay per town, then you get paid for however much work you did, person skips out after first town, o well you still get 1k for it and everyone elses money, they refuse to pay, you refuse to go to next town unless they leave

Dont know what isnt clear. The run was over, all payed and i asked to this scammer to leave so i can kill last boss, a easy one, but he didnt left 2 hours. Yes i was crazy to wait and to make the other guys to wait too. Lets run scammers..

Chrisworld i saw your sig, u know if starcraft, warcraft, nfs series, diablo, freelancer can be added to xfire? U have in xfire list hard games likes unrreal tournament, gw, halo but is there Solitaire too, nice one lol. Hm but dont know why im asking, cuz wont install xfire again, im afraid of lag or to have many strange programs installed.

xfire is worth it but i havent used it in a while..because everytime i used it with CS:S...xfire would cause CS:S to crash... no idea why but i stopped using it for now.

I understand the concept of not letting noob to score, but was 2h necessary.. you could have resign and do it again (40min - 1h top) give guys 50% discount and all would be happy

This is exactly one reason why I would not like to run stuff. People pulling this kind of stuff would piss me off.

To those that say said to "/resign" you still need to get the cheap loser to resign as well. It is my experiance that leechers and other such dirtbags will not resign.

While doing Ring of Fire missions I had this guy in one group, he had been run to Droks, bought max armor, slapped all Sup. Runes (none Vigor either. . . ) on, and had been leeching missions. He stayed back by mages until fighting was almost done. We all finally just map warped back to town and reformed party.

Personaly, I think you are over-reacting a bit, i mean creating a topic and tell what has happened to you. I run the Cathedral of Flames for a few weeks now and I have had LOTS of scammers, and i don't even waste 5 minutes on them because i know i won't get my money from them and like i can make them see sense all of a sudden on why not to scam people. In fact, I think you're lucky for running the mission for so long and having only your first scammer. Like what has been said before, if you run people, there will always be scammers.
