Can any one tell me if a Tommy Gun costume piece is available to Villains, and if so, how do I unlock it.
For Heroes, it becomes available after obtaining the Untouchable badge, so I read, but I cant seem to find any info on the Villain side.
This is bugging me a fair bit, 'cause my gangster, Mickey The Gun, needs to get his suit fixed to get a promotion within "La Familia" (The Furioso Family / Triumph ), but I don't wanna waste my free costume change token until I can "downgrade" his gun too.....Mickey NEEDS a Tommy Gun. the "Franken Gun" is awesome for some toons, my hero blaster will never carry anything else (Vera, eh), but it just don't work for a dirty thirtys kinda guy, dig ?

Maybe I am wrong, but I thought the tommy gun is a regular costume piece now. I would visit the facemaker and try. If it is not there you can always click BACK, so it won't cost a thing.
And I have learned through many lost posts to never use the preview option. I will always do ctrl-a ctrl-c before I click submit. And if my dyslexia is even worse than normal I can always click on edit :)

nope, Tommy Gun aint regular costume piece yet, although there are "more realistic" looking AR's available now...as far as I can figure...I need both the Gangbuster, and the Untouchable badges, but am not 100% on that.
What really sucks is that a VG buddy spent 3 hours the other day , to NO benefit of his own, helping me obtain the Gangbuster badge for just that purpose, and now it appears all for naught. We weren't even getting any XP, nothin...Thanks Tamaki Revolution...You're Aces with me !
I picked up the Council Sub-machine gun costume piece the other day, just running down the street, minding mine own bees wax, when a coupla council guys way below me started shootin in my direction, so I kilt em. So badge, no nuthin, but "it" said "You have now unlocked Council_gun_03. " Very strange.
I used that in my costume change, it kinda looks like a Tommy Gun with no Drum Mag. so it'll work for now, but if anyone outt there KNOWS of how to get one, I'll buy ya a drink at Pocket D !
So Phedre_D, you gonna look me up in the CoX sometime ? I'll be on mosta the week. L8R.

See? iPods cause brain tumors....
Anyway, I can confirm that Council weapons 'just' drop without a badge to come with it or as a prerequisite. It's possible it's just a random drop, I got two different ones in one mission. I also got another weapon costume piece since I11, but I forget which one it was. Not the tommy-gun though.
One thing, tommy-gun exists as a temp-power, that might exclude it from being a costume piece somehow? Or maybe it becomes available as you get that.

That'd just be so lame that I'd hafta...well, I would...I'd just hafta run around in The CoX and...and ..SHOOT STUFF !! over and over and over....
Thanks for the reply Iani, ( I thought that about iPods too, but dinna wanna say, eh. Whats really crazy is, apparently, dude's a gameamp staffer..wtf is that about ??) I really hope yer wrong about the Tommy Gun though, not so's I can be right of course, Mickey just so desperately NEEDS one is all.
Remember...the Kasual Killers is always looking for a few BAD toons. We gots a full base and free cookies, C'mon out and Kill Kasually with us.
Gonna set me up that gameamp.com channel this morn., or try to at least..seems fairly simple though.

The Tommy gun unlocks exactly the same for Villains and Heroes, with the Untouchable Badge. If you can get a high level SG mate to help, go hunt them in the upper right corner in Martial, one gray building has tons of them, and it will also get them something as it is a badge needed for one of the Villain Accolades. If not, the docks in Port Oakes work alright. Good luck and good hunting.
