Help Me PLz Graphics

ok so whenever i play coh or cov the levels have the floor jump up when i step by it...it only happens in certain places but the floor covers my characters legs and cars...can someone plz help me

My good friend Grifter always gives the best answer for any graphics problems. Try updating your graphics card drivers. If that doesn't work, we'll continue to try to run it to ground. Good luck. :)

Your right Mal, my fix all for every problem ever has always been...Update your video card. It always seems to work too. That would be the 1st place to start, I suggest. But I am sure many of our other wise, computer knowledgeable Ampers can give even more insight.

ok so it says my drivers are already updated to the best version...i have a ATI Radeon X1270

Wow

So I guess it must not be meant to be because after restarting my city of heroes game it constantly crashes saying atioglxx...hope theres a quick fix otherwise im gonna give.

ok i fixed the new problem but i noticed while playing that the old problem didnt really go away...it just does it less frequently and i think its because of my resolution

What is your resolution set to? I admittedly run my graphics lower that maximum, but it is because I run multiple background programs while CoX/CoV is running like team talk and Hero Stats. I found that ramping the resolution down really helps in this case, if I set the resolution too high, the game gets stutter/flicker effects and weird graphical things start to happen.

ATI has always been...questionable...with CoH.

You can also try updating your .net files. That has fixed problems for me. You can get them through the windows updates. Do a custom update and look at non-critical updates. COH requires .net and it can fix some problems to update it.

ok so i played with the in game settings and what i found was that when i put the FSAA to x4 it lowers the ground to just above my feet...so what im trying to say is changing this options makes the problem better...but i cant make it go past 4x so what do i do

The current version of CoX is designed to work best with AGEIA Phys-X cards. High end NVidia cards seem to work fine with FSAA set at 4x, but I wouldn't push most other cards past 2x.
