These are this years special hats:
The left one is Dwayna, and the right one is Grenth.
Sadly, these are the only hats, Dwayna offers the same hat in both Lion's Arch and Kamadan, and so does Grenth.

It was announced that there would only be 2 this year. :) I like the contest winner, was hoping it would be more shiney though... the Dwayna helm is interesting though.....

I'm disappointed with both, but more so with the ice crown as it looks almost nothing like the original design Nian had drawn. Anet should have bit the bullet and tried to stick closer to the design rather than half-assing it.
As for the wreath, it is a good concept, just poorly executed. It should be more colorful in line with the coming of spring, but instead it looks more like fall colors, with candles.

What would've been nice would be instead of hats, wintersday minipets! That would've been well worth the waiting in lag-tastic cities for!

i dont even have any hats due to playing dwanya/grenth standing in circles game with emence lag and then getting dced, now cant get back on -_-

Hmm, only 2 hats :(
I gotta say, the grenth hat isn't...shiny enough, and it's grey opposed to light blue which the concept art had it coloured as, and it looked better blue imo.
As for the dwayna hat, yeah i gree it's a v good concept, unfortunatly, it looks like something out of mardi gras...any1 up for a big festival/booze up? :D

Thank you very much for the pictures, I will not be hurrying on to ge them this year. Once again Anet's half ass attitude slaps us in the face again...GG anet.
I really liked what I saw on contest winner list, hell I even liked the bone helmet looking one better, but you would think anet would at least do the winner justice and make it look as close to it as they could.
Don't get me started on the wreath.
I for am very disappointed. But oh well, thats what the freezie crown is for!

I agree that the hats this year are not very good. If Anet had stuck to the original design more than what they did, then they would look awesome, but since they didn't....well, shame on them.

I also wonder what the winner thinks of the final hat...
i dont mind the wreath one, looks pretty decent in my opinion, but the ice crown isnt what i thought it would be
