Well in 3 Months I will have been playing guildwars for 2 years and i have seen alot. Its mostly like everyone, you are in Pre, you leave travel through the game and got your own story to tell.
I was gonna write something really long but this is just a Shortene version of my extremly boring long story :)
I Bought a game in March 2006 called Guildwars when i was runnin around BestBuy, It was just almost 1 year old. I missed out on 2005 boom of guildwars for whatever reason. I have had 2 Computers over the time ive played GW. I have had so much fun. I found the game of my dreams, played it, witnessed 2 games in 1 year added to it, a great Expansion added its great unique gameplay style and different approach to the common MMORPG gaming style...and on the darker side as of recently....its fall in my friends I watched it get kicked to the curb, bashed and shunned by people who loved it and played it bacause it was great, awesome and fun.
We all had a great time. Then it all died down I look around and ask my friends why they stopped, they just got bored they said and then dissed guildwars because they didn't knwo what else to say. I didn’t get bored tho I stayed with gw and played it and wasn’t boring. 3 Months have passed while the huge amount of people are leaving gw (aka my friends) and I haven’t heard more people leave for WoW and bash the game THEY ONCE LOVED AND PLAYED for 2 years which they said was the greatest. Well now maybe one other kid but me plays but that’s about it. Many have tried guildwars and when the WoW players has a chance they throw WoW at them and stomp them into world of warcraft. They destroyed a good game. I will never leave guildwars, I don’t see a reason to, I don’t jump bandwagons I don’t listen to the bloodsport wow players that throw so much sh*t at me every day about their game and bash me for playing a, what they call “failure of gaming history”. COMING FROM PEOPLE WHO LOVED THE GAME... Guildwars wasn’t given a chance IMO and I witnessed it in my own school. So many people, hundreds reduced to 5 or less players. The big wow population dominated over them and turned them on their own game that they loved and made them say they hated it and that it sucks. GoTY 2005 and now being stripped of its members by a bigger population, all because wow has 10 Million players. People hate me, People call me retarted but im the smart one and I call it a completely demonic force trying to recruit people to a game just to watch it get so many players that it will dominate some day, don’t laugh at me, but I feel that’s how it is. I came into Guildwars at the wrong time, I should have started when everyone else did in Apr 2005. But I came in at the end of the fun. I still had fun tho. But apparently there was more to be had in 2005 when there wasnt WoW players demonically jumping on you and shoving WoW into your mouth, and I had to watch players leave guildwars because their other friends or just plain 24/7 wow players forced them to leave the “sucky game”.
Now you might know slightly more about me, not perfectly said, not making too much sense at times but you get what im tryin to say Im sure. Its been a fun “almost” two years here playing guildwars and its certinaly not the end for me. And for my 10 or more friends, if you see this, Have fun playing Wow I hope you are enjoying it, I miss ya.

EDIT: Sort of a story and becomes a rant maybe but oh well. Thats what i have seen.

Well, im on 30 months( 2yrs 4mo) playing GW and I still find things to do. Hey GW is Free. The characters look better and the PvP is awsome. I hate when stupid players comepare this game to WoW. Its not really in the same category. Well, Im saving Time and money by sticking to GW. People who play Wow are total Zombies(yes Im bashing). I enjoy coming to a game that fun, very little grinding, fast-paced, beautiful and *FREE*
Im glad that Im not wasting 15 dollars or whatever it cost to play WoW monthly. 180 per year for a game that you already bought. Hey many can do it much power to them.
The Decline may have to do with the Announcement of GW2. I too have done What I needed to do in GW. Im ready for the new blood. And WoW is not the answer. LOL. Unreal Tournament Anyone???
