| Beating Glacial Griffon on ele |

I've been trying for a long time now to complete Cold as Ice on my elementalist but I can't do it. I get him down to just a tiny sliver of health then I die. It happens the same way every single time. So does anybody have any tips on beating him?

Check Here There are a few different ways of beating him in that thread.

Weaken Armor
Ebon Vanguard Assassin Support
Summon Ruby Djinn
summon the djinn as soon as you can, then when the griffon turns red cast barbs, weaken armor, and EVAS on him, then into ursan and finish him off with a few swipes

summary of the build (I have no experience with web editing so ....)
Attribute:
Earth: 12+1+3
Shadow Art: 12
Energy Storage: 3+3
Skills:
Shadow Form (elite)
Glyph of elemental power
Sliver Armor
Obsidian FLame
Teinai's Crystal
Crystal Wave
Dark Escape
Death's Charge (or some other attacking skill)
Weapon:
Any weapon with 20% enchant. Earth staff is strongly recomended. I'd use Galigord's Stone Staff .
Max armor with radiant insignia
This probably one of the most popular build so I don't think I have to explain carefully how to use it but just incase Shadow form, run to boss(death's charge if you bring), glyph, sliver and on..
For the griffon MAKE SURE YOU LET HIM SUMMON ALL THE SPIRITS UP BEFORE YOU USE UR ATTACK CHAIN.
-Another easy way to defeat the Griffon is to use a Bison tournament build. Take Ritualist secondary with Agony, Vampirism, Shadowsong, Bloodsong, Dissonance, and pull using Painful Bond.

Thanks. I forgot to mention that I was using the shadow form build before, maybe you could just explain to me why it doesn't work? I wait for him to set up his four spirits, then I cast shadow form. I don't bother with death's charge or dark escape since he just walks right up to you. Then I do glyph of elemental power, and finish the attack sequence. He gets down to a small sliver, then dies. Am I doing something wrong?

i'll try that too
EDIT: thank you all, I just killed the glacial griffon easily. I just used the shadow form build I was using before except I put in intensify and summon ruby djinn. The djinn was the trick, because he helped push him over the tiny sliver of health that I was stuck on.
